Lovely stay
Lovely stay again. You always feel welcome here. Clean rooms with tea and coffee facilities. Helpful staff that go that little extra way to make sure you have a wonderful stay.

Home from home
Cosy hotel in the perfect location to the headington town center, Oxford universities and John Radcliffe Hospital. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a lovely stay. Fully equipped rooms with ensuit, fridge and tea coffee facilities. The beds are comfortable and the linen is fresh. I've booked here many times and it is an ideal location for my work at the hospital. I will definitely be returning.

Easy, friendly check in, room as described and warm. Close to lots of shops, pubs and restraunts. Easy to get to Oxford center from. Can't really go wrong.

Very disappointing
It was very disappointing. The bedrooms were old and grotty. I knew it was a 3 star accommodation but in honesty that rating is been kind. The receptionist was pleasant. I could not recommend this accommodation.

Not the best
I stayed here for two nights while my wife was in John Radcliffe hospital , the room was ok . In my bathroom there was no plug for bath and shower wasn’t the best ,on your website it said rooms were all soundproof this was the case as i could hear people snoring in other rooms.

The room and bed were clean if a little outdated, Host was friendly and the amenities were stocked well.but I didn't sleep well as the bed was uncomfortable and the room was too warm. Had to keep the window open to get some sort draught of wind into the room but that meant we had to put up with the traffic noise from the main road outside.

This hotel was excellent for access to John Radcliffe hospital and there were plenty of places to buy food in the evening. The owner was very welcoming and most kindly let us leave car in the parking area until we went home about 2.30 pm. Less good: the room was at the front on London Road and therefore noisy so I had to shut the window. I had booked for 2 adults but there was only one set of towels. Just a mistake we think and for one night we managed. Coffee/tea making facilities very good but really needed water glasses. Nothing major, so overall very satisfactory for what we needed and good price.

I stayed in a small room with a single bed and it was very nice. The ensuite bathroom was fabulous. It was almost as big again as half the room, with a fullsize bath (and shower of course.) Also a good TV with lots of channels. Tons of stores and food very close.

The hotel is above an Indian restaurant and shares the same entrance. Very limited staff availability on reception. The property was closed when I first arrived at 9:15 in the morning and there was nobody on reception when I came to check in at 16:00 in the afternoon. There was no air conditioning in the family room I stayed in. The mattress was very uncomfortable, it felt very old and in need of a replacement. Very basic and dated facilities that are shockingly over priced.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The common areas were spotless and the rooms clean on arrival. There was no problem getting hot water morning or evening, the fan in the bathroom was adequate to keep mould away. I loved the fact that I was able to control the radiator in my room and save energy when I wasn't there.

OK hotel
It was better than expected from the reviews. The room was clean but dated, the parking was difficult to get out of the space the following morning but we were glad to have a space. There was loud music from somewhere until late at night. Overall, it was OK and the location worked for us.

Recommend some where else
late in hotel bookings, so only have Limited choice. This “hotel” Need bus to reach oxford center. 0-Only UK plug. 1-No front desk, only phone number. only met the guy once for check in. 2-Mould on toilet paper. 3-No daily room clean. 4-limited fresh air exchange, even there was a fan on the table. 5-got two bug bites during my stay... 6-hot water was not consistent. 1+positive surprise was the refrigerator, though it’s a little bit noisy. 2+bathroom space was quite big. 3+window view facing street. 4+the bed was not too soft and the cover was quite thick (might be good during winter) Downstairs was a restaurant.
Black spots on toilet paper when I check in.
No daily clean. Maybe should be state in information.
Always empty, only a not with phone number.
