"Checking in to this home, felt like going to a family vacation home as a kid. The space was welcoming and homey. Our children loved the stay and proximity to the beach. We spent many hours playing game, letting our dogs run on the beach, and relaxing on the porch.The room for improvement comes in the need to ceiling fans in the bedrooms (it was in the 60’s during our stay but the bedrooms were quite stuffy, even with the windows open) and as other reviews mentioned, the stairs are quite steep. While overall the home is clean, there was noticeable dusting needed on some of the decor and ceilings.Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"This place is exactly as described—small, but incredibly cozy and comfortable! The hosts provided more than enough amenities, including plenty of coffee, lots of towels, and extra blankets. The downstairs bonus room is a fantastic addition, stocked with beach toys, kites, chairs a fan and much more.The highlight of the property is definitely the private path to the beach. It runs directly from this house and feels very private. The beach walk is smooth, and you could easily ride a bike down the trail until you hit the roundabout at the end, where you can park your bike before hitting the sand. (Wish we would have brought ours) The rabbits are definitely wild! theyre all over the area! Such a cool, unique place."

"This is a bit older property, but it is maintained extremely well and the finishes are new. Very clean. One challenge is that no one mans the Front Desk. On Tuesday and Wednesday. So if you need anything on your own. But overall, it’s a great property and a reasonable price."

"The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and was surprised to have a full size refrigerator with a freezer, toaster, 2 coffee pots, microwave and full size sink in small kitchen area. This was great as my stay was 4 days and I was able to pick up some fresh fruits and veggies at local markets and didn’t have to eat out at all. Pool and hot tub were both well maintained and comfortable. I was lucky enough to have the ice machine right outside my door. I was on a 10 day vacation so I had laundry to do. It was easy to access and the machines were in like new condition. I did have my own soap etc. but they also offered it in the office, you just have to ask. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again."

"Very nice old style hotel in a wooded spot next to the bay. Looks to be refurbished to its original charm with great attention to detail and very very clean throughout. Rooms are small and do not have amenities normally found in modern hotels, but there is a well equipped dinning area with everything you need. I will definitely stay again"
