"I loved being close to the beach…It wasn’t viewable but was walkable. The beach was very quiet. Westport was about 4 miles north. We really enjoyed seeing the fishing boats and watching them return laden with fish…watching people use the crab traps…there are different areas to walk out over the water to enjoy the bay… also plenty of fresh seafood to taste!"

"Wow what a great experience we had at this hotel in Long Beach. The manager was so sympathetic to letting us check iway early than normal which I cannot tell you how appreciative I was as I was exhausted. The staff were all very friendly, the coffee is delicious the quick and easy continental breakfast at the door the next morning was perfect. Our room was clean and neat very comfortable beds pillows easy to get it out of shower parking lot was easy everything was just perfect highly recommend a hop skip and a jump to their saloon located perfectly in the town to everything highly recommend I wish I could remember that manager's name I think it was Caitlin or something on those lines but what a wonderful lady!"

"Checking in to this home, felt like going to a family vacation home as a kid. The space was welcoming and homey. Our children loved the stay and proximity to the beach. We spent many hours playing game, letting our dogs run on the beach, and relaxing on the porch.The room for improvement comes in the need to ceiling fans in the bedrooms (it was in the 60’s during our stay but the bedrooms were quite stuffy, even with the windows open) and as other reviews mentioned, the stairs are quite steep. While overall the home is clean, there was noticeable dusting needed on some of the decor and ceilings.Overall, we enjoyed our stay."
