"My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is gorgeous! Our room was very clean and comfortable and the food and spa experience were wonderful! Tea at the Empress was a highlight! The staff consistently went above and beyond to make our stay special. Highly recommend!"

"The suite was very clean, check in was a breeze, bed was comfortable, and had pretty well every amenity one may need. Very nice natural light and we were greeted with some yummy treats. There was a little noise one morning above us and the 10:00 checkout felt a smidge early, but overall it was a lovely place to stay in a nice, quiet part of the city. "

There is a great walk around a lake opposite the property and everything else is easy access either walking or driving.The owner maintains good communication throughout and is very kind and helpful.I can't recommend this stay enough. "The location was great; a nice neighborhood and quiet.The kitchen was fully equipped and ready for cooking. I had to clean out the garbage containers under the kitchen sink and in the bathroom as well as the stand that held the toilet bowl scrub and plunger.But the rest of the place was decent in terms of cleanliness.The t-towels in the kitchen were useless as they did not absorb water. I bought dish cloths for cleaning up and then took them with me.The bedding linens and towels could definitely be improved upon; I wish I had brought my own."
