"Great small little cabin for off grid experience. Stargazing was fantastic and you are 45 minutes away from the big bend national park and 20 minutes from Terlingua gosh town."
Jackass Flats Greasewood Grocery Cabin

"The Greasewood Grocer cabin is a very lovely space with a wraparound porch for watching the sunrise, sunset, and the spectacular starry sky. I loved the smell of creosote in the morning on the west side of the porch! The Greasewood is very artfully decorated and aesthetically pleasing. Pam, the owner, did an excellent job of communicating directions and kept in contact as needed throughout our 4 night stay. She replaced the microwave for us when the one that was there broke down. We also used the BBQ grill on our last night there to take a break from restaurants and my husband cooked a romantic steak dinner under the stars. The Little Burro Country store a mile away is a very friendly, helpful resource with a sweet resident cat. My only regret is that I did not have a chance to meet the burro!"

"Overall we enjoyed the place . When looking out of the windows , the beautiful view was obstructed from windows that need to be cleaned . You might want to check water heater anode rod , The place is by itself offers the ultimate privacy . The kitchen was supper clean and well stocked for a great breakfast . We look forward to future stays at XB. M and D"

"New property made to look like an old western town. Our room was very clean. There it a large kitchen in one of the buildings to be shared by all guests. It was very well equipped and set up"

"We loved Space Cowboys. It was quirky and fun and family friendly. The hammocks were a favorite for my family. We watched the sunset from there each evening. I underestimated the steepness of the climb to Pod 12, but we handled it just fine, especially with the atv service to help with luggage. We loved having Dingus come by to say hello. He was friendly and playful. The location was nice and quiet, and it wasn't far from town when we needed to buy things."
