A wonderful hotel across the road from the beach. Check in was very easy, the gentleman was happy and informative. The room had everything we needed including a fan, clean, well kept and beautifully simple. Very quiet at night, with a comfortable bed, breakfast was brilliant with multiple choices, cooked quickly and the chef was great. The garden was great especially in the evenings and the bar was reasonably priced. All the staff we met were happy to chat or recommend a place to go. Check out was simple with space to keep our luggage for the rest of our day. Planning to go back with family already

Great place to stay for a visit to Paignton and surrounding area. Very convenient with a view of the sea. I had a single, ensuite room which was great as a solo traveller, not always this option at some hotels. Gary and James were very welcoming, cleanliness was excellent and a great breakfast. I will visit again. Thank you.

A welcoming and beautiful property, everything was perfect and fantastically located. Room was beautiful and bed was comfortable. Owners are lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay easy and relaxing. Couldn't ask for a better stay and will definitely be returning.

The property was well kept, clean and comfortable, we had no concerns with regard safe and there was good free parking option. The host were great and welcoming. Easy walking risotto all major local attractions.

Fresh,Bright & friendly

It smelt amazing as we entered, everything was so clean and looked fresh, The manager was so friendly and offered lots of information about the hotel, and made you feel very welcome. The room was small but adequate and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and nothing was to much for them, we were booked into a different hotel for our 2nd night but would of loved to have stayed her for that night, they did offer to try sort out our other booking but I had already paid that company. We will definitely be staying here again when we come this way again

We really enjoyed our stay ...our family room was perfect.. with beautiful views of the sea...and Gary couldn't be more helpful when I messaged him regarding the check in times..he allowed us to check in early as we were attending my fathers funeral...making a difficult day so much easier..so very grateful to them for putting themselves out...highly recommend this lovely hotel!

One night stay at Paignton

Very close to the beach, shops and bars/restaurants. A lovely breakfast in the morning which allowed me to get on with my day without having to search for a cafe. The staff were very welcoming and made me feel very safe as I was on my own (a lady traveller).

Excellent from start to finish. Super welcoming, lovely hosts. The room was super value, really clean, perfect view and 1 minute walk from the beach. Happy times and definitely coming back but for fun not business next time! Thank you :)

Fab little hotel in a great location!

Clean & tidy room, could do with a larger bed in a family room as the kids tend to want to pile in when not sleeping in their own beds but appreciate there isn’t much space. Check in easy, great location. Lovely little garden out the front. Plenty of tea and biscuits! Would recommend :)

Easy to find, staff on the end of the phone and more than happy to accommodate us arriving for a late check in, very clean tidy room with a beautiful view of the pier and sea . Will 100% stay here again when we visit Paignton in the future thank you very much hotel Torbay

Nice hotel, would stay again.

Only issues were no soap in either dispensers, and bed wasn’t very comfy but I guess that’s a personal preference. Room was also hot but we had our own fan.

The owners were polite. Room was nice except the skirting boards and rails very dusty. Main road out the front can get a little noisy with fast cars ar night. Other guests slamming doors. Walls quite thin you could hear other guests.

Wow, what a gem of a hotel! If you are planning a trip to the seaside this is the hotel for you! I got a last minute booking for my 6 year old and myself as we were extending our holiday to see family and I’m so glad I did! Perfect location for the pier, fair and all the attractions. My son didn’t want to leave! Hosts are wonderful, friendly and so helpful. Hotel is beautiful and spotless. Beds comfy and the rooms have everything you need. We are already planning our next visit including our dog next time. We loved our room with a sea view but are looking forward to booking a room with a balcony to enjoy the views further!

A welcoming stay. Great location. Recommended.

Very welcoming. Gary and James went out of their way to be helpful. They upgraded our room for free. Nice to be able to take our dog too. Bed linen and towels immaculate and nice warm room with a balcony. Initial impression very good, however, it became apparent that cleanliness could be paid more attention. Mould, scum and limescale could be removed from shower doors, nowhere to hang bath towels or keep wash bags off the floor. Hooks for coats not fixed to the wall. Maybe rooms kept for dogs, it would be more hygienic to have non carpeted- easier to keep clean. Bed was standard double and adequate but not great.
