"We had a wonderful stay. The overall cleanliness was good with a few exceptions that made no difference to the quality of our stay. Maybe just needs a little more attention to small details. The house itself had a wonderful old world style that was brought into the modern age. We all loved the character and charm. We unfortunately did not get to stay very long as our trip was a quick one. My only suggestions would be to improve on the height of the back stairs to make it an easier entry from the driveway for handicapped persons and maybe a grab bar in the restroom for us older handicapped guests. Other than that I was able to maneuver throughout the property with a large walker fitting through all doorways. My only other suggestion would be to maybe put a canopy over the back deck so that it doesn't fill the furniture up with falling leaves. We had great communication with our host and she was even accommodating when we needed to extend our check out time to accommodate our soldier after his basic training graduation. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We will definitely book with host and Heartwood Homes again. Thank you so much for a great stay!!"
