Will be back!

My family loved it! The condo was very accommodating. We loved the many pools. Our favorite was how close we were to the beach. I have a handicapped parking pass and it was easy to find access to parking. The house manager (not sure if that' the right term) was available quickly if we had any questions.

Just Okay

Good for the price and location, but a lot to be desired. Check in was easy since we arrived late, but if you are checking in at normal hours of the day, you will be waiting for quite a long time. Place was fine, appliances were outdated, the dishwasher is falling apart, and the kitchen stuff is quite old. Internet was VERY slow and the provided password was incorrect, along with the door code to the beach. Sheets were not very clean, no soap in bathrooms or toiletries like the listing said. There were also no move out instructions or cleaning supplies to use for the end of the trip. Building itself was okay, quite busy and the elevators broke at one point, causing absolute chaos trying to get up to the 17th floor. Beach was the nicest part about the condo, great water and sand with lots to do. Owner was responsive quickly and did answer all our questions if needed.

Check in was not smooth and the staff member did not leave us with a good impression. The elevators are atrocious. They are slow and the wait if forever. There were no issues with the room. That was great.

17th Floor Walkup

The condo was ok once you got to it. The elevàtors were always busy. You normally had a 45 minute wait at any of them. Once inside for about 20 minutes our little ones feet were black. The master bedroom was nice even though the television was snowy and the bed was being held up by 3 two by fours. This was definitely not what I expected for the price I paid.

Great family vacation

The condo was perfect for a family of 5. The room was clean and the owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. The pools were perfect when we needed a break from the beach. Everything you needed was in walking distance. Our family had a perfect weekend away and plan to book again!!

Simply Amazing!

Fun around every corner! The condo was everything the listing stated; spacious, beautiful and comfortable for a large family. The host was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We would stay again and again!

Great Property

We had a great stay at this condo. Everything was well cleaned when we got there and it had everything we needed. A great selection of kitchen equipment which helped when we wanted to cook meals. Also the bathrooms had plenty of towels for us 5 girls and the bathrooms were stocked. Overall it was lovely and we all would return.

Great property

I recommend this condo, and we are renting it again next year. It is very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with dishware, cookware, and utensils. It was quiet with easy access to the elevators and garage. There is also beach stuff for the family vacationer.

Wow!

We just wanted a nice place to sleep. . . NEXT time we go, this will be our HQ for a relaxing destination! Very nice home, great friendly service, excellent location. Not right on the ocean, but the ++++s make it worth the walk across the street! Thanks!

Excellent experience overall

Arriving and check in was simple and fast, the condo was great. Laketown Warf is located right where you want to be in Panama City 15 minutes from St Andrews state park, and right on Thomas drive. My only complaints were the tv in master sweet didn’t work.

Great stay on the 17th floor! Owners are fabulous. Condo was very well furnished and comfortable/relaxing. Our microwave did not work the night we arrived, the owners arrived early the next morning and by the afternoon we had a new one. Great service! I would recommend this condo to anyone traveling to Panama City and want the hustle and bustle of the area. Our 9 year old son loved the light show every night from the balcony and the alligator in the lake below :)

A MILLION DOLLAR VIEW

This is the third time we have stayed at Laketown Wharf. The saddest time is when we head back north to Michigan. The view from the balcony is priceless, from the seventeen floor you can see the gulf, a lake with a watershow, a golf course, the bridge over looking Panama Beach on the other side two amusement parks, its unreal. The condo is equipped with everything, even a 52 inch tv. The fishing pier that is a short distance away offers a nice walk and great fishing, you can rent a pole or bring your own. Restaurants are great but the condo is so good who wants to go out and eat. We are so grateful to have this opportunity to enjoy Florida this much. We plan to make many trips back.

Love it!!!

The McGuire's are great people to rent from, very easy to reach and deal with. The room was clean and very accommodating as well. They had beach chairs, floats, as well as beach towels! This was far above and beyond what I have come to expect from a rental at Laketown. As far as the rooms go, it is all that one could expect or would expect at this resort. Beautiful view of the lake and nightly light show. I've been coming to Laketown Wharf since they opened, I can say that I would definitely recommend the McGuire's rentals to anybody. I rented two units with them, both were great and if given the chance I would rent from them again. Thanks again Mike and Amy for such a great vacation experience!!!

Nice and lots of great ammenities

The condo was really nice and comfortable. I liked that there was enough toilet paper/soap/dishwashing detergent so I didn't have to buy extra. The evening water show was great and we loved all of the pools. Even though it's not directly on the beach, the walk really isn't that far. It was nice being able to walk to Walmart, Waffle House, Pineapple Willey's, and the gas station. Unfortunately the codo was struck by lightning during our stay so many of the elevators were down, which is no fun when you are on the 17th floor. By the next day or two we were able to call security and they would ride up to our floor to get us, so that was impressive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Very Nice Condo To Stay In

Was a nice property with a nice view. The beds were comfortable. There was a pack and play available to use for our infant son. We didn't have any issues with the elevator situation as some people have commented about that but that seems to happen in summer season when it is more busy. There was black mold in our washing machine, we contacted the owner and he sent someone to come clean it out promptly. When I wiped up some water that fell on floor the paper towel came up as dirty, but I did not contact owner about this issue (just upset the floors were this dirty being charged a large cleaning fee, not owners fault) --- we choose to wear shoes inside, we typically do not wear shoes inside in home per our culture. The pots and pans should probably be updated, but most people eat out on vacation. If you are planning to do most of your cooking on vacation in the condo I suggest bring your own pots and pans (not an issue for us though for this stay, we choose to eat out). Everything else kitchen wise was nice and stocked. I think the cleaning fee is a little high considering all of the rules about the condo needing to be a certain way or being charged fees. BUT I can understand were owner / resort is coming from as well, just something to consider. All in all, great host as he responded promptly to the one issue we asked him about. Everything else in the condo was very clean, provided nice toiletries in bathrooms, dish soap, and a sample pack of detergent for washing clothes. Very comfortable place to stay, and would def. recommend and stay here in future. This resort is close to the beach, close to restaurants, and attractions. Our family had a great time. Please contact host with issues if you stay here because he actually responds and cares for your stay to be comfortable.
