If you’ve set your sights on the perfect vacay, look no further than Take it Eeaasy, a magnificent lake-front home located in the private gated community of Carillon Beach. Gorgeous views and luxurious furnishings make this home away from home an ideal retreat. Just steps to the beach and conveniently located near shopping and restaurants, you’ll find everything you need and more!

Take it Eeaasy is a stunning cottage-style home with three bedrooms and four baths accommodating up to ten. One step inside this luxurious, custom-built retreat and you’ll be in vacation mode. Hardwood floors, natural finishes, and gorgeous furnishings welcome you into the space specifically designed for comfort and relaxation. The living area is filled with cozy furnishings and plenty of space to accommodate a crowd. Calming hues and expansive windows scattered throughout the dining area add to the ambiance in this open-concept space, housing a dining table with seating for six. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, plenty of cabinet space, and a breakfast bar with seating for four. Unwind and take in coastal breezes on one of two screened porches, one off the main floor and the other off of the master suite. Generous, comfortable bedrooms await at the end of the day, with king-sized beds and en suite baths in both the master and guest suites and a bunk room the kids will love with a flat-screen TV. A washer and dryer are nestled in a nook behind closed doors for added convenience.

The whole family will enjoy the exclusive Carillon resort community with plenty of amenities. Challenge one another to a game of tennis or basketball then lounge by one of three pools. You’ll find several children’s play areas and great restaurants for a quick lunch or celebratory evening meal. Walking paths and beautiful landscaping throughout making traversing to the beach a quick and relaxing occasion!

Parties, events, bachelor and bachelorette parties are strictly prohibited, and an adult chaperone must accompany guests under 25 throughout their stay. Smoking is strictly forbidden, and pets are unfortunately not welcome and subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Guests found in violation are subject to eviction with no refund.

Golf Carts: All rental golf carts must be rented through Coastal Cars & Carts 850-999-7733, which is the exclusive vendor in Carillon beach. No other rental carts will be allowed on the property.

Beach Service: Carillon Beach is serviced by Vacayzen. 1 complimentary set is provided seasonally March 31st-October 31st (2 chairs, 1 umbrella)

My wife and I were on our Baby Moon, and this was the perfect place to stay! As the name of the house, "Take It Easy", is literally the perfect description of this property! This was the perfect house with private beach access and a private neighborhood for a quiet week getaway for the two of us. I loved the outdoor shower to clean off sand after going to the beach to keep the house clean. Literally the best place for a chill week or would be great for hosting families. The owners gave us a place and a week to remember with this rental!

Needs Update and Touch Up

Indoor and outdoor furniture needs a good cleaning, screens on the upper deck need replaced, landscaping needs to be cleaned up. Floors are showing a lot of wear and tear. Overall house was clean and location was great. Just needs a little TLC.

Great location! Perfect layout for a family with 3 young children. Loved the shower out the back (side) door. We had a plumbing issue with one of the commodes and it took them over 24 hours to repair it. Kitchen was minimally stocked for anyone doing a lot of cooking. Other than those two minimal things it was great! Communication was excellent when I had to contact about commode.

Wonderful Beach House

Take It Eeaazy is in a fantastic location. It's just a few steps from the easiest beach crossover at Carillon Beach and is an easy walk to two of the beautiful pools. It has two back porches overlooking Lake Carillon, and we loved time on these porches. The bedrooms are very nice, and we loved having four full bathrooms. The bathrooms are a bit small but pretty, and the showers are also a little small, but have great shower heads. The living area downstairs is so comfortable and spacious. The beds and bed linens felt so good. The home was spotless when we arrived, and ScenicStays made check-in and check-out very easy. We absolutely love this home! We hope to stay there again soon.

Check in was easy, host was responsive, location is top notch. The upstairs master sink drains very slowly and the kitchen sink backs up on one side when the garbage disposal is used. The clothes washer smells and needs some maintenance. Otherwise we were very pleased with our stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The home was very comfortable. Great location with the Lake in your backyard and the walkover a short distance to the Beach. We were on the sand in less than 3 minutes. Loved the bedroom set up and it was most convenient having 4 full bathrooms. One bathroom next to the side entrance where the outdoor shower was handy to dry off and make sure you didn't carry sand into the home. We would definitely stay here again! Love the Carillon Beach Community been vacationing here for 22 years.

Home needed front entrance repaired. Difficult unloading and loading vehicle. Bathroom sink in top left room not draining well and can light needs to be replaced. Bath in master has broken faucet. Just a little care needed.

Beautiful home!

This was our family’s favorite beach trip! We loved the house! It was beautiful and perfect for our family! The mornings were so peaceful on the porch overlooking the lake and the beach was just across the road. We definitely plan to stay here again!

Scenic Stays was easy to deal with and provided great communication, very responsive. This house is right next to the beach access and very convenient. Beds were comfy. The home was clean on surfaces we used, but a deep cleaning is due. Things like cleaning the walls around the bathroom sink and baseboards. Just things I pay attention to, I didn't feel like it was overly dirty, but just needs to be done soon. The clothes washer is a front loader and needs a deep clean, it has that mildewy smell and mildew in the gasket around the washer. We had issues with the garbage disposal backing up in the sink. You can tell the home has some maintenance issues due to age and use. Not bad, but if it were mine, I'd want to address those things. Renting a home like this isn't inexpensive and considering that, I'd look for these things to be taken care of. But, I would book this home again due to it's size and location.

Great house.

We loved our stay at take it easy. The house was very clean and and living space is large. It is an easy walk to the beach and pools. Loved having 4 full bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. And I appreciated that everything was very clean but just smelled fresh and not the strong smell of toxic cleaners. Also loved having an outdoor shower. The house was was well equipped and we will definitely rent here again.

Great location and beach

We did enjoy our stay. I do think this property needs some updating like fresh paint (chipped paint in most areas and lots of scuff marks everywhere) and hardwood floors were in very rough condition. It did not seem very clean compared to other houses we have rented in area. Over all we enjoyed our stay but at this price point I would expect walls and floors to look better.

Beautiful home

Gorgeous 3 bedroom home (2 kings and twin/ double & twin bunk beds). All three bedrooms are upstairs, and an additional bathroom is downstairs. Has a Keurig and a 12oz coffee pot. Very clean and the owners even have a laminated print out with the channel listing. (I know that seems menial - but as someone who has had to scroll through each channel with a little one… this was huge!) The house backs up to the lake and the community it is in has beach access. The beach is gorgeous and clean. There is a guard that checks each vehicle as it comes in.

Refrigerator broke

We arrived and couldn’t get in the gate because we were Not given the appropriate QR code to scan for check in and NEVER received it while we stayed at the property. We were there for My daughter’s wedding weekend and needed a refrigerator for bridesmaids luncheon foods and wedding day brunch, etc but we arrived to a broken refrigerator and it did NOT get fixed. They brought us a mini fridge but was not sufficient for the food we needed. Otherwise place was very nice

Worse than a Bit Worn

House needs floors sanded and refinished, rugs replaced... broken furniture should be thrown away especially if it's outside and rusted. Porches need to be re-screened... outdoor cushions are molded. Bathrooms are too tight and awkward... washer and dryer with proximity of door is a pain also. Furniture although high quality is stained in some cases. Sprinkler heads are exposed and a tripping hazard going out of the driveway. Bedrooms are in better shape than downstairs and mattress are comfortable. We walked by last year and thought it was smaller and cute since we were taking less people it might be a good choice.

Beautiful location, house needs work

Take It Easy was just that for us! We had the best most relaxing week in Carillon! The house itself was the perfect size for our group of 8 — two families with four kids. The house is located right on Lake Powell, 50 steps from beach walkover 6 and the beach pool, and about .25 mile from Lake Powell Pizza and Our Little Beach Cafe, so very convenient! Some things I want to note about the house itself to justify the 3 star review: 1) The exterior of the house could use a good power washing. There are dead bugs all over the porches, and in every roof overhang. Honestly surprised the neighborhood allows this level of upkeep. 2) The screens on the screened in porches are ripped in several places, so they flap and generally look bad. 3) Inside, the house is in similar shape. Every wall could stand to be painted, and the wood floors need to be refinished. 4) All three bathrooms are very small and grungy, again in need of maintenance or updating. The shower head drips in one of the king bedrooms, which is annoying all night long. 5) In the same king bedroom, the bed actually fell apart. We had to request maintenance to repair the slats that were half-hazardly “installed.” 6) There were sufficient pots/pans to cook with, and dishes to eat on, but plan to purchase your own spices, etc.
