  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Condo

Condo was very dated. Acoustic ceiling tile, really. Looked like mold on ceiling acoustic tiles in shower. Looked like mold in bathroom where floor meets baseboards. We paid for late check out at 12:00pm and at 11:30 door code would no longer work, luckily my mom was still in the room. What the heck locking us out 30 minutes early when we paid for the extend check out! Water was shut off for 2 hours without any notice so we could not shower, brush teeth, use the toilet or even get a drink of water. The grounds and pool area were very nice. Beach was lovely. The rest was mediocre for what we paid. Would not recommend to anyone or come back.

I stayed here by myself. If my gf or son were with me, i dont think they would mind the older condition of the unit. I didnt care.With that being said, no one messaged to lmk the room was ready. I was sent the info about paying an additional 50 for parking while i was driving. The listing clearly said 2 cars were able to park. The unit smelled musty and old. The fridge drawer was stuck shut. No ceiling fans in the unit. It is right next to the elevators, which qas nice. The grounds were well kept.Again, I didn't mind the condition, but a family may.
