WELCOME TO THE MERMAID'S DEN!

Mermaid's Den - Spacious Beach Resort is a condo located on the first-floor of the Edgewater Beach Resort Villas in gorgeous PCB. It is walkable to the Beach Tower with several amenities including pools, hot tubs, food and bars. A short 3 minute walk on a private walkway will get you to the beautiful beach. Bring the whole family to this bright, airy, and spacious condo to relax and enjoy all the amenities offered at the resort space. Perfect for a family vacation!

THE DETAILS:

This ground floor villa is located in Edgewater Beach Resort and offers 2 Bedrooms, Living room with a Queen sofa bed, 2 Full Baths, sleeps 8. Master bedroom offers a King bed, private attached bath with garden soaking tub/shower and walk in closet & 50 in ROKU wall mounted tv. Bedroom 2 offers 2 Queen beds, 43 in ROKU wall mounted tv and attached bath with shower/tub combo. Spacious living room with 55 in ROKU tv and view of one of the lakes on property w/ water feature. Kitchen is stocked with everything you will need for meals inside the condo. Plenty of seating at the farm style table or extra seating at the bar area. Large spacious living room with Queen Sofa sleeper and plenty of seating. Full size washer n Dryer located in the laundry room.
The villa pool is steps away from the back patio and located directly across from the tennis courts on the VILLA side of Edgewater Beach Resort. Less than a 5 min walk to the beach side or call the tram for a ride anywhere around the resort. Kitchen is well stocked, making meals a breeze.
The Beach and all amenities are within walking distance or a short ride in the complimentary tram service. PLEASE NOTE: Tram will NOT be running from November thru March.

Beach side, you'll find a spectacular Lagoon Pool, 11 Pools and 4 Hot Tubs. Take a break at Ocean's Bar & Grill, Paradise Pizza, Blender's Poolside Bar or at Edgie's Corner Market, featuring Starbucks, Ice Cream Parlor & Bakery. Take a break from the beach and spend some family time at the Arcade, Splash Pad or Sky Trail Rope Course. Pamper yourself at the Spa and Beauty Salon. If sports and fitness are your passion, you can enjoy a round of golf on the Par 3 Executive 9 hole Golf Course, a game of Tennis on Plexicushion Courts, or play some shuffle board or basket ball. The Club offers a great workout at the Fitness Center, and the Pro Shop has everything you need for equipment, ADDITIONAL FEES FOR GOLF, WEIGHT ROOM, TENNIS - please check with the pro shop for details and pricing.

  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Very Nice

Very clean, nice place. Close to the beach, good pools. Great host. Would definitely stay here again. Edgewater has a lot to offer. We were here for softball, so our stay was games, beach, and pool, so this was perfect for us with two players in theirs own room.

Wonderful place to stay and enjoy the area

We were attending an event at the conference center and this property was perfect to be able to get to our event easily and be a short walk away from the beach. Easy to get in and out of the community with plenty of convenient parking. The property was clean and comfortable with lots of amenities. The only slight downside for really light sleepers is that you can hear upstairs neighbors if they decide to be walking around at night - not an issue that these owners can do anything about but I know some people are very sensitive to that. Overall, a very pleasant stay with all the comforts of home. No issues while we were there but prompt communication with owner before and after.

Family of 5 - dance nationals and vacation getaway

If you are participating in an event at the Edgewater Event Center, then this property is excellent. We were able to walk over and didn’t have to mess with parking. It was amazing. Also, in our free time, it waeasy to walk to beach or grab the shuttles when we wanted to utilize the pool/beach areas. Property felt safe - Gated with guarded entrances. Beach is beautiful with option for rental chairs/umbrellas. Food at the pool restaurant was good and easy to order take-out while sitting at beach/pool. The room itself was a great fit for our group. Recently updated. Clean furniture. Stocked kitchen. Double queen beds in second bedroom was nice. Primary bedroom was large with great bathroom/closet. Beds were comfortable. View from patio is of golf course and main road. We liked the large smart TV’s and easy to read instructions/labels on everything. We felt right at home quickly. Suggestion: We had groceries delivered on day of arrival. Owners provide a small amount of necessities for your first couple of days, but I recommend buying extra dish washer detergent and toilet paper. My only “negative” comment would be the noise from the condo above. I’m pretty sure it was a family with lots of small children and their footsteps were very loud. This is not something owner can control and I doubt would ever be THAT loud again, but wanted to at least mention - as it was our only “gripe”. Great place. We would stay again. Host is easy to communicate with. 5 stars.
