  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Property was in a good location. The views were amazing. Definitely could use some updating to the interior. Rug in living room was curled up on the edges creating a trip hazard. Great trip even if we were double red flagged 2 days.

Overall the property was nice. Elevators were extremely slow, but any staff that I encountered were very nice. The actual condo we stayed in was not the cleanest place, so I cleaned myself when we arrived. Countertops, toilets and floors were not clean. Also the furniture was very worn and dirty. Location was great and it seemed to be a more family friendly environment than a party spot which was good. This was our 2nd Vacasa booking and we experienced a similar situation in Miramar Beach about 4 years ago. We will not stay in a Vacasa rental again, no matter how tempting the price is.

Hmmm

The property was as pictured. Cleanliness was lacking. Fridge was not functioning properly. The stay was okay until the property manager called to accuse us of throwing a plastic owl off of the balcony into the pool area which was 16 stories below. We were told that we were being evicted. We were not on the property when the incident occurred but that didn’t make the situation any easier. Our trip was ruined by the complete inefficiency of the property manager. We were not evicted but it was an entire 24 hours of BS before we left the property without even an apology. Never again…
