"Since I didn’t opt for a breakfast-included package, I skipped breakfast at the hotel. I wouldn’t recommend eating there anyway—the neighborhood surrounding the hotel is charming and worth exploring. You’ll enjoy your trip more if you head out instead. The staff is generally helpful, though a few simple requests, like extra towels, occasionally caused a bit of a hassle. Overall, the hotel's sales pitch is the city, not the room. So it is definitely a great place to stay."

"The property is very well located, in a safe and pleasant neighborhood surrounded by great restaurants. The hotel itself is generally well maintained, although the rooms feel a bit outdated. Our room was also smaller than it appeared in the photos on Expedia. The bed consisted of two twin beds pushed together, which isn’t my preference when traveling with my husband, although I understand this is very common in Spain. The bathroom was clean overall, but it could use a deeper cleaning. There were noticeable water stains around the shower glass and some buildup around the sink drain. Overall, the location and neighborhood are excellent, but the rooms could benefit from some updating and more detailed cleaning."

"It would be nice to have a cafeteria to eat at any time during the evening. The restaurants around the hotel are rather dismal. This location is not favorable for people with walking disabilities, it is on a very steep hill, difficult to walk to the closest Metro station."

"Was really helpful in an emergency as my original flight home was delayed and I had to sort out two nights somewhere, this was a pretty cheap option but the place and facilities were really well kept. I hadn’t stayed in a hostel and shared room before but circumstances meant I couldn’t be picky, but the others in my room were friendly and no problem at all. I slept pretty well. Where it’s at is a bit quieter than some other areas in the city"

"It's right above the main train station in Barcelona. Just follow the sign for H (Hotel Barcelo Sants) a short walk outside and you will see the entrance for the hotel. Very spacious rooms, also provided 2 bottles of water in the mini fridge."
