Adequate room for three adults. Broken glass on the floor, unknown medication capsule on the floor and food crumbs on shelves in the kitchen. Bedding (mattress pad) was soiled when we inspected the bed upon arrival. The check-in and key pick up was NOT “just around the corner”. Up two blocks and down five more to find a lock box in the back of a laundromat, then back to return, both times in the rain dragging our luggage!
Great location in the heart of Paris! The apartment has good amenities, a comfortable bed, and is very clean. The host was responsive and proactive, both before our arrival and during our stay. Having an elevator in Paris was great. We really enjoyed our stay, my first time staying on the Left Bank, and we absolutely fell in love with the neighborhood. It's safe, centrally located, and close to metro stations, RER, and fantastic local restaurants.
I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment. The location was super convenient—close to great restaurants, metro and RER stations, and walking distance to a lot of the main sights. It was my first time staying on the Left Bank, and I was surprised by how much I liked the area—calm, central, and easy to get around. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The balconies had a nice view, which was a nice bonus. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Paris.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Horrible apartment in great location.
The photos of the apartment, while technically accurate (furnishings and layout) are wildly misleading. Since the photos have been taken, the paint is peeling in the bathroom, the exposed bathroom pipes are covered in mold, the butcher block kitchen counter is rotting, the upholstery on the couch is peeling/flaking, and the walls/windows/floor boards are filthy. The floors are in disrepair, leading to tripping over lifting floorboards and the bathroom door getting stuck in the closed position, should you accidentally shut it all the way. The building itself has tons of potential and I wish the owner would use the profits from this rental to maintain their property. The linens were fresh and clean, but unfortunately that is all I can report positively. The check-in and check-out procedures were very confusing. Referencing a "key cafe" does not accurately describe the lobby of mailboxes that one finds themselves in when needing to pick up or drop off a key. We tried so hard to ensure that this accommodation did not ruin our time in Paris. On a trip that included 9 cities, this was, by far, the worst accommodation we experienced.
I can’t stress strongly enough, do not book this apartment or if you already have, cancel immediately. I checked out almost immediately after I arrived and am still arguing with VRBO for a refund. The listing states, “luxury, newly renovated apartments…” Large sections of the ceiling paint are peeling and falling, there was heavy black mold growing on exposed pipes, the wooden floor boards have large cracks, are uneven and a tripping hazard (I tripped over a raised board and it lifted out exposing a large hole in the floor), the door frame around the lock is split, the furniture fabric is worn and peeling, the kitchen was filthy… I could go on and on. When I contacted the management company, they said the building is old and I should expect some defects, really??Checking in was a nightmare. You have to pick up the keys from a lockbox at a laundromat 1.5km away from the apartment (which may not seem like a lot unless you are hauling luggage through the brick Paris streets). You are also expected to return the keys to the lockbox after you check out or pay a 50 penalty. The instructions provide a code to enter the building, but there is a second security door inside the building with no instructions. The mgmt company wasn't aware of the door, a tenant opened the door for me after I showed her my booking, but I wouldn’t be able to leave and re-enter the building until the mgmt company sent me the instructions the next day, the day after I checked out.
