Nice stay in Paris

Just completed a wonderful 2 week stay at this location. Apartment was well appointed and had everything I needed especially the washer/dryer. Location is fabulous with several metro stations within a 10 minute walk. Owner was easy and helpful. Many restaurants and bakeries nearby as well as grocery stores.

Oasis in Paris.

Courtyard covered in beautiful plants. The location couldn’t be any better with a pastry shop on the corner, lots of places to eat within walking distance and very close metro access that opens up the whole city. The place was very clean and well stocked with amenities for our stay.

Had a great stay, great communication with Oliver. Even brought us extra heat when things got cold. Easy check-in. Place was just as pictured in ad and location was nice with restaurants and bakeries close by and a metro station 5 min walk. Would definitely stay again.

Great Location

Olivier was a very accommodating host. He made sure we had all what we needed. The location was great for staying outside the bustle of the city but close enough! The place was quiet and quaint. Definitely recommend!

Great location

Wonderful flat in a great neighborhood in Paris. Not too big. Not too small. Super great location. Quick access to multiple metro stations, and grocery type stores. Surrounded by a great variety of food offerings, frequented by those living in the neighborhood. The host does a great job communicating and was prompt w all interactions. Will absolutely choose to stay here again while in Paris.

Fantastic location in Paris!

This apartment was exactly as billed. Excellent location with local restaurants, supermarkets and boulangeries close by within walking distance and availability of public transportation. Olivier was easy to communicate with using texting, and he let us in early on the day of check in! Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to feels right at home in Paris.

Wonderful Stay

We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment. We were looking for a larger bed and a larger shower and this was perfect. We didn't do any cooking other than our breakfasts, but it was very well equipped if you wanted to. No elevator, but Oliver was kind enough to give me some assistance with my bag. Bakery is on the corner and a nice grocery store right on the next street. Short walk to metro stations and lots of restaurant choices.

everything was perfect!

very nice location near canal st-martin. lots of bakeries, cafés and restaurant in the area. close to 4 metro stations. 20 to 30 minutes ride to attractions ( tour eiffel, monmartre, montparnasse, etc) only (small) problem: a/c wasn't working. fortunaty, weather was perfect, so the nights weren't too bad.

Great stay in Paris

I had a wonderful stay while in Paris. The complex itself was very quite, yet only steps away from main roads and a subway station. It was a very convenient location for the Paris Olympics as it was outside the main thoroughfare but close enough to get there within 20-30 minutes. Great recommendations for shops, markets, and restaurants were provided as well as other things such as laundry detergent and even a bottle of champagne. The only negatives were that there was no air conditioning (which is typical of Paris) and the lock is kind of tricky. Otherwise, my stay was great and I would recommend.

Awesome Apartment

We had a great few days at Olivier's apartment. All the amenities you need. Clean and cozy. Olivier was a great host. He met us upon our arrival and gave us a quick run down of the apartment and area. Lots of restaurants and bakeries, some right out of the front door. Close to the Metro and bike share which was a fun way to deal with jet-lag in the late night / early morning. Highly recommended.

Paris apartment with a local feel

We wanted to get an experience of Paris that wasn't just the "tourist" experience, but was more local, and this place definitely delivered. It met all of our needs, giving us a nice home base as we hit the high points in Paris. It was close to Metro and bus stops, which was convenient, and the neighborhood had bakeries and restaurants that kept us fed (and bars too if you're looking for those). While its location was picturesque, it being on the second (third) floor with no elevator could make it difficult if you have mobility issues or lots of luggage. That being said, it was a good place for us as we experienced Paris, and we'd rent here again for another trip.

Cozy and convenient

The location is great - close to several metro stops, nearby shops (including an array of food shops along nearby Oberkampf) - and does not feel touristy. The apartment is very quiet, overlooking the small courtyard with geraniums in the window boxes. It is quite tiny (no sitting area, just enough room in the bedroom to maneuver around the bed to the closet) but it is efficient and well designed with lots of storage space, a spacious shower and plenty of counter space in the bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped if you actually want to cook and there are lots of cleaning supplies. We thoroughly enjoyed our four-night stay and would return (although if we were staying much longer, we would likely try to find a spot with a sitting area).

Perfect Paris Flat

Wonderful find in Paris's 11th Arrondissement, this tidy and comfortable apartment was well suited for our five-day stay. Very comfortable bed, hot shower, full kitchen and the bonus of a a washer and dryer. Seating is a little tight and sparse without a living room or real dining area, but for two people we made it work. Paris was chilly during our visit, and Olivier's unit had ample heat to keep us warm. While some will note the neighborhood is distant from the main attractions, we walked everywhere without any issues. Metros are nearby yet we still chose to explore by foot making it to Notre Dame, Montemarte, the Louvre, etc., all on separate days in one hour or less. Plenty of fun dining and shopping nearby as well. Within a 25 minute walk of the apartment is the famed Père Lachaise Cemetery where scores of famous people are at rest. Well worth the visit for the somber and reflective beauty of the grounds and monuments. The apartment is also within a notable building being the 1839 birthplace of acclaimed Impressionist painter Alfred Sisley whose work we had the pleasure to see. All in all, a very positive experience at Oliveir's unit.

A taste of Paris

We stayed a week in the apartment and it is extremely well equipped, especially with kitchen equipment, dishes, etc. It's a very quiet building and a great location within walking distance of the centre of Paris (if you are in condition!) and/or buses and metro stops, as well as lots of local restaurants, shops, etc. There was sufficient heat for the days it snowed and an air conditioner for the heat (not used). Olivier was a fantastic host, provided lots of information on the apartment use and local spots. He answered every query immediately and even in person. Highly recommended for anyone able to climb 2 long flights of stairs!! He helped us with the suitcases the first day. We are both 80+ and made it, although rather breathless at the top!

Simple, clean, adequate

The property has all the essentials with appliances in the kitchen and a washer and dryer that was quite helpful. The property is not luxurious and requires a walk up 2 flights of stairs. Never did figure out how to get the TV to work but then we weren't in Paris to watch TV. It is situated further from main points of interest than I had hoped for but Metro and buses were easily accessible. Overall the property is safe, clean, and meets ones needs.

The Paris Apartment Worked Well for Us

We liked the apartment a lot A major shout-out to Salvador for explaining what was where and how things worked. (It was impossible to understand how the main heater worked, but that was irrelevant in that it wasn't yet heating season and there was a good portable heater in the bedroom closet that we did use.) The bedroom: The bed was comfortable and the room had lots of storage space. The bathroom: Loved having a good washer and dryer. Great having a heated towel rack. And the shower was really good, with both overhead and hand-held sprayers. The kitchen/living area: Not spacious but big enough. And the kitchen worked well. The neighborhood had everything we needed -- boulangerie and supermarket within a block and plenty of restaurants (although we didn't go to any of them). Metro access was excellent. The only downside to the apartment was the staircase -- tricky to navigate.

Pleasant, Easy, and Convenient

We arrived well after our scheduled arrival time due to air traffic delays and missed connections at Heathrow. Olivier was very accommodating and met us late in the evening upon our arrival at the apartment. He demonstrated locking and unlocking the apartment, then had us try the locks ourselves. I was grateful for this as the locks can be tricky. The apartment was small but well furnished, comfortable, and clean. We loved the shower. We appreciated the security of the outer coded lock for the door onto the street and the additional coded lock for access to the apartment building stairs from the inner courtyard. However, we felt very safe in the neighborhood at all times of the day and night. The neighborhood is very walkable. Several Metro stops are nearby. There are wonderful small cafes, restaurants, and shops within just a few minutes walk of the apartment. We would love to stay there again one day.

Average & Disappointing for Price

I am usually the first person to jump on and leave the most positive reviews I can.. but I’m saddened to say this stay was disappointing for what we payed. The place itself is average, a bit small and unfortunately not reflective of its title “luxury”. We were given all the basic amenities and were able to use the washing machine which was helpful for our big trip. You are rather central (15 minute walk to the Louvre) which is handy, but the area itself is also rather average compared to others in Paris. Our major difficulty came upon arrival after having travelled 25 hours, the owner said he would pop by to water the flowers during our stay. We assured him we would be able to it ourselves, but he insisted. Therefore, sacrificing a level of privacy during our stay. Thankfully, we were able to agree on a time for him to come by in advance, but nonetheless sacrificing the coined term “luxury” in the description of this accomodation. Moreover, we were able to quickly discover that the owner lived directly across from the accomodation (saw him on the balcony), thus being able to look directly into the apartment through the windows. This meant we had the blinds shut the entire stay to secure our privacy. We spent the most on this accomodation compared to others during our trip around Europe, and unfortunately it was the most disappointing. If you are going for a short stay, perhaps it may be worth securing this average spot, as an extended stay like we did (9 days), not so much.
