This cozy apartment was clean, comfortable and in a great location on the Rive Gauche near Notre Dame.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment.
Great location and communication was quick and easy. Really enjoyed our stay here. Super lively area easily walkable to a lot of things you’ll want to see.
Thank you for a great stay.
We stayed a week in this beautiful apartment. The owner was always helpful and responsive The location to Notre Dame, the metro, shops and dining is perfect Highly recommend this apartment for a welcoming and relaxing time in Paris!!!
The location of the property is very close to the Metro stop and Notre-Dame. Many restaurants located right outside the property, but being in a courtyard it is hard to hear any of the hustle and bustle
The place was perfect for my wife, daughter and I. Had everything we needed including fans. We cooked a couple of nights. But the property is located perfectly near tons of food options. when we go back to Paris we will be staying here again.
cheers
Amazing all round - great responsive nice host spotless apt in heart of Latin Quarter. Apt is a bit warm but has fans and opening windows. The perfect spot!
This property was in a great location, very easy to navigate to train stations and sites nearby. The communication was clear & responsive with the host - easy to understand instructions for check in & out. We were there during some very hot weather, and the space was warm. There were fans and portable air unit, but still was hot in the apartment. Overall a good spot!
Exactly as advertised. Convenient location for exploring Paris with direct train from CDG to the end of the block (RER B).
Hosts are very responsive and accommodating, providing initial supplies that you don't always find.
Large modern bathroom. Good kitchen for the size.
Located in a quiet courtyard of a noisy Latin Quarter street. This ground level unit is very warm, but with A/C, fans and windows to open it quickly becomes comfortable.
Many fabulous restaurants nearby, (but I'd avoid those in this particular block). Try Rocaille!
I'd stay here again.
Clean and modern. Steps from metro and restaurants. Small but adequate if you are basically sleeping there. Pull out bed and small loft area beds were very comfortable. The only downside would be for someone with mobility issues because of stairs going to loft which has a very low ceiling. When couch pull out is open there are only a few inches to maneuver around, challenging in the middle of the night. Host was wonderful and quickly responsive. Would highly recommend.

I had a great stay. I loved the layout of the apartment and the loft bedroom. People complain about the low ceilings, but I thought it was super cool. Bathroom was great and water pressure perfect. Actually, one of the greatest showers I’ve been in. It can get a little warm, but there are fans. The location is fantastic forgetting out and about. Just realize that it is a pedestrian only street so you have to walk about 50 m to actually get to the apartment. My recommendation is to simply ask to go to union restaurant, get dropped off there and make your way to the big red door,, number 14. Google maps will take you everywhere you need to go in order to find it. Excellent instructions in terms of getting the key, etc. Would note to be careful with the door when locking. Takes a little getting used to. Also might be tight with four people in that apartment, our group was three. Overall, a fantastic experience and I’d definitely go back.
There were good and not so good things about this property. The location is great. The Metro/RER (train that goes to CDG) station is a two minute walk away. You can easily walk to Notre Dame, Pompidou/Les Halles and the Louvre. It was clean and the shower was good with plenty of hot water. The pictures are a little deceptive, it is not as large as it appears and there are several levels and steps. The sleeping loft has a very low ceiling, you have to crawl into the (very comfortable) bed. When you pull out the sofa bed you can barely get to the bathroom from upstairs. This would work for a couple with kids or two GOOD friends, but not two couples. If you’re not going to spend much time in the apartment then it will work just fine.
The property is in a great location to visit most major sites and very close to the Seine. We were able to walk to most places of interest. Loads of restaurants and bars around the condo. Maikel was very responsive and I was able to get a response very quickly. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and very modern, although warm. There is a fan that was very helpful. We didn’t use the kitchen, but everything you need to cook was there. FYI-taxi’s/cars are not able to come down the street, so we had to walk with our luggage half a block to get to the condo. There was construction going on at the time so it was a little difficult. I imagine that has cleared up by now. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend it.
This apartment was obviously completely renovated recently and boasts a modern minikitchen and bathroom with spacious shower and plenty of hot water. It is more like a studio than a 1 BR, as the loft has a 4-foot ceiling and no furniture other than the bed on the floor. The loveseat has a comfortable pullout bed. Great location about 200 meters from the Seine across from Notre Dame, near Saint Michel metro stop. About 25 restaurants within 100 meters. Checkin and checkout were seamless with key in lockbox. Entry door to courtyard requires a keypad code, providing extra security. The apartment is well designed for a small space. Fan (provided) quickly cools off apartment, which can be a little musty when first arriving. Manager is extremely responsive and helpful. Good for a couple or with one child. Two couples would be too crowded.
The apartment was generally clean, well appointed and quiet, though located in the midst of a terrifically vibrant area, and it is in a perfect location for exploring the city. It is smaller than we imagined, however, and because there are only two small windows at the door, it does become stiflingly hot without the large and too-noisy fans. While I had a terrific time and was not ultimately unhappy with our choice, I doubt we would stay again; the sleeping area was so small and the ceiling so low that we felt unable to move freely and the bed itself was just an uncomfortable, saggy, too-soft mattress. I hate to leave a negative review, but our arrival was difficult as well. No one answered the number we were given to call for help, and neither our taxi nor the shop owners in the area could not tell us where the apartment was located. Some explanation of the fact that cars cannot enter Rue Xavier Privas would have been helpful!
Nestled in the heart of the City of Lights, my stay in this basement apartment was nothing short of a poetic ode to Victor Hugo. From the moment I descended the steps, I was transported into a world that whispered tales of Gavroche, evoked memories of the downtrodden from Les Misérables, and brought forth the mystique of Quasimodo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Though Parisian summers can be quite fervent, there was a vintage fan that spun tales from bygone eras, attempting valiantly to keep the warm embrace of the room at bay. While some may quip about the warmth, to me, it felt like an ardent lover’s embrace - passionate, all-encompassing, and hard to let go.
The ambient glow from the streets above filtered through, casting shadows that danced with romance and nostalgia. Here, the very walls seem to breathe history, and every creak of the wooden floorboards tells a story. It's not just a stay; it's an experience, a journey back in time.
Despite its cozy constraints, the basement became a universe unto itself - where dreams took flight, and every nook and cranny held a secret waiting to be discovered. The echoing sounds from the streets above only added to its charm, reminding me that I was in the throbbing heart of Paris.
In conclusion, this apartment is not just a place to rest your head; it's a narrative, a love letter to all the romantics who seek more than just accommodation. It's for those who wish to lose themselves in the timeless embrace of history,
Maikel's place was perfect.
I came for a girls trip with my 9 year old daughter and mom. The apartment has two queen sized beds that comfortably accommodated the 3 of us.
We overpacked so we would have a lot of fashion options for one week in Paris. All of our clothes and accessories fit in the closet. There was ample space, shelves, and clothes hangers.
The iron and a small ironing board was a plus!!
Many electrical outlets throughout the space. (Bring a converter)
The television is compatible with apps so we were able to play music and watch late night movies through our apps.
We walked to the Louvre and back. It was less than 20 min walk each way.
The Pantheon is a 10 minute walk.
The area felt super safe to walk around at night, even with a child. We got in around 2am - 3am some nights and the bars and restaurants in the alley and surrounding were still open with lots of people hanging out.
Would be perfect for a group of friends or for a couple to enjoy the late night business hours.
We walked a different route each day since there was so much to do every way you walked. So many restaurants surrounding, it would take months to explore.
The metro is a two minute walk. We took the train one day to the right side of the river where the Opera is. That was a 15 minute train ride. I have so many great things to say of this space.
I hope this space is available when I visit Paris again. I would stay here each time and send friends.
Thank you so much Maikel. 🤗😘❤️
Clean, modern, and centrally located. Hosts were easy to communicate with. And the Nespresso machine and pods were a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Great location! There was so much to do just steps from our front door, but we didn’t hear any noise from the apartnent. It was comfortable and had everything we needed for a week long stay. The host was very responsive. It was a great choice for our stay in Paris.
This is a perfect base for exploring the city! Walkable to so much nearby, including the large metro station. Well appointed and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
This apartment was clean and stylish, and it was the perfect place for my two 21 year old sons, who stayed here while my husband and I were around the corner at another apartment. It’s a perfect location down a pedestrian ally full of fun restaurants and cute bars. We were all delighted with space. Nice new bathroom too. Very efficient and comfortable space. Easy check in and friendly accommodating host!
The place is as described and so clean, functional and accessible to so much. We loved the privacy of the courtyard and to walk out into the bustling city was great. So many food options. The walks down the river were so easy and finding a scooter or bike was effortless. Will stay here again with no hesitation. Thank you so much for a great stay.
