"Wow! A six hundred year old tiny house. Fantastic! This unique house was a fun base for Cinque Terre. We recommend taking 2 or 3 days to hike the trail so you get to know the personality of each village. We loved the location, and the bed is comfy after hiking and swimming all day. The kitchen is small but very well equipped and we made several gourmet dinners there. We stayed a week and I absolutely loved this place."

The pool and hottub bar area was soo beautiful. Thank you, Porto Roco for an amazing stay! I also loved having a shuttle ."

"Perfect base for exploring Cinque TerreWe loved our stay in Monterosso! The location is hard to beat: the apartment overlooks the beach, with plenty of restaurants and bars just steps away and the old town, which was a highlight, a short walk off. It’s also an ideal base for seeing all of Cinque Terre, with the train station close by.Fair warning that there are a lot of stairs up to the apartment, but it’s worth it. The apartment had everything we needed including kitchen, living room, bedroom, 2 balconies, espresso machine, beach towels, washing machine and more. Our favourite part of every day was having espresso on the balcony each morning, taking in the amazing views and watching the trains go by.We loved walking the Monterosso boardwalk, and there are great trails around town. The hike from Monterosso to Vernazza was challenging but well worth the effort.Luisa was very responsive and took great care of us throughout our stay. We’d highly recommend this place and would happily stay again!"

"What a wonderful experience staying in Monterosso! The apartment was a lovely base for exploring the beauty of Cinque Terre, with its charming streets, wonderful restaurants, and breathtaking coastal scenery. Staying here gave us the opportunity to experience the slower pace of life in this beautiful part of Italy. We loved exploring the villages during the day and returning to Monterosso in the evenings. A little note about the steps: Yes, there are 79 steps to reach the apartment, but don’t let that discourage you! They aren’t particularly steep or difficult. I managed them confidently while wearing an air cast boot! My advice? Don’t spend your time counting steps. Look around, take in the beautiful surroundings, and enjoy where you are. After all, you’re in Cinque Terre! If you’ve chosen to visit this magical part of Italy, steps and inclines are simply part of the experience, and that’s part of its charm! Overall, a memorable stay in one of the most picturesque places in Italy. Cinque Terre truly is special, and Monterosso was a wonderful place to call home for a few days. We would happily return!"
