"From the moment we arrived until we left, our experience at the Hyatt Canberra was exceptional. We travel extensively throughout Australia and overseas, staying in many luxury hotels each year, and I can honestly say this is comfortably in our top three. What stood out wasn’t just the beautiful heritage building or the elegant surroundings, it was the people. Every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, attentive and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. That level of hospitality is becoming increasingly rare and deserves recognition. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between timeless luxury and comfort. Every space is immaculately presented, the atmosphere is calm and refined, and there is a genuine sense of pride in every detail. It’s easy to understand why this hotel has earned such an outstanding reputation. If you’re visiting Canberra and appreciate exceptional service, classic elegance and a truly memorable stay, I couldn’t recommend the Hyatt Canberra more highly. "The apartment suite was modern and fresh, in line with my expectations; the staff were very professional and friendly. However, I was unfortunate enough to end up with a room which had virtually no view with very limited natural light. I realise the hotel cannot do much about this even for any future guest occupying this room, as it's simply a shocking building design oversight. Getting back to positives, the hotel is located within a 5-10 min walk to the bustling Civic dining and entertainment precinct. Overall, I am happy to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality accommodation in Canberra city."

"Loved the Heritage feel of the place. We stayed in the Heritage king room at the top of the stairs and were only occasionally disrupted by clomping on the stairs, but not woken during the night. Huge room, huge bed, huge shower! Dinner in Chifley's Bar and Grill was just as special with attentive staff and a lovely atmosphere and great food. A fantastic spot tucked away for a weekend, but not too far from anything! First time for me, but won't be the last. We've found out new home away from home in Canberra."
