"Some hotels give you a room. St Michaels Resort gives you a memory. My partner and I spent three wonderful nights here, and St Michaels became more than simply the place where we stayed...it became part of our Falmouth story. There is something special about the atmosphere: beautiful, peaceful and effortlessly welcoming. Everything came together to make our stay feel genuinely memorable, and we left with that rare feeling of wishing we could remain a little longer. I even bought a few pieces of St Michaels merchandise because I wanted to take a small part of the experience home with me. That probably says more than any ordinary five-star review could. Falmouth gave us the scenery, but St Michaels gave the trip its heart. Thank you for hosting a chapter of our lives that we will always remember. We arrived as guests, left as admirers, and will certainly return. Samuel"

"A very nice hotel: well maintained, if a little dated. My room was large and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. There was plenty of parking. I would happily stay there again."

"Barbara and Maurice are the hosts you always want to meet, everything is provided to make your stay at Myrtle Cottage a comfortable and pleasant experience. Its like staying at a friends house. A home made cake, eggs, milk and homemade jam were on site, along with all of the basics that make cooking convenient. The quirky galley kitchen is great, only room for one person! Highly recommended."

"We really enjoyed our visit to Keeper’s cottage. We were made very welcome by the owners. The gardens and views across the valley are spectacular, the house clean and comfortable. We used the boating facilities at Navas Creek Club, the restaurant there is delightful too. Thanks to Aline, Richard and Sarah, we had a wonderful holiday."

"We had a lovely spacious room with a comfortable bed, a bonus was the beautiful views of the river through the wide full height windows. Only downside was the lack of a cooked breakfast which is not available. There isn’t a table in the room so we had to sit on the single chair and blanket box to eat the cereals provided, not ideal when you want to fortify yourself for the SWCP walk. They also didn’t service the room which meant we had to wash the cereal bowls and cups in the bathroom sink and make our own beds!"

"Delightfully peaceful spot, spectacular views from the garden. Very comfortable space, well organised, immaculately clean, and a great mattress for my bad back! 10 mins walk through a wood to the beach. Another time I'd leave the car hire, bring my ebike instead, and walk to the local village for provisions."

"House was fabulous- the new kitchen and downstairs shower room are light and modern, the living room was really cosy, and beds were comfy. A great location too, right on the Helford River."
