"This was the perfect cozy cottage to feel away from the hustle and bustle but accessible to stores, restaurants, and a variety of activities. Accommodations were rustic and simple, but very clean and comfortable, conducive for a welcome slower pace and break from an overly connected/digital lifestyle. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. "

But you’ll get something away from the typical. Support local in this great little mountain town and enjoy a night without the tv blaring. "

"Our family loved this clean, comfortable, and well stocked home within walking distance of downtown Black Mountian. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook delicious breakfasts and dinners. The backyard was perfect for our dog and the neighborhood was very walkable. We look forward to staying here again on a future visit."

"The cabin was as listed and the cabin owners were friendly and informative. Property was perfect for our needs of being able to have a base camp while we dropped our kids off at college. The fire pit was used and we enjoyed the space of the living room in order to have some friends over as well so everyone could feel comfortable. The only challenging part of the property is the driveway during the summer. It's fine, but I can only imagine that it's a little bit challenging. During the winter it wasn't unmanageable, but it was definitely a unique experience. Were able to see wildlife while we were there and the town is so amazing both Black mountainand montreat. The book that the family left for us gave great directions for some amazing trails and hiking experiences. "

"This place was great. Just what I needed for me and my husband plus our two dogs. Was very clean. The yard was super cute for kids or dogs and the firepit was a bonus. Very nice hosts. It could use slight upgrades in terms of furniture but everything was tidy and functional. It was about 5-10 minutes from downtown area and you could probably walk to some breweries in about a mile! Overall we would stay here again I really feel like the photos make it look smaller than it actually was. We had a good time! "
