"Rooms are spacious with wonderful view of the lake. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was excellent. All rooms equipped with full cooking facilities as well as a machine machine and tumble drier. Bed was soft and sheets clean and hotel standard. "

Being able to rent simple, reliable snow gear directly from Carinya at a very decent rate took a lot of hassle out of our trip. Room was clean and quiet and we loved the bonfire, but the unexpected gem was the restaurant where the friendly, easygoing staff fed us delicious, traditional Indian food at about half the price of what we'd pay in Canberra or Sydney. They did not respond when calling in to ask for directions (not the easiest location to find), Wifi was not working, and charged us additional cleaning fees upon checkout (a cleaning fee was already included in the rate).
