"The hotel was great and the staff was super friendly, we were there at the end of a long vacation and we were so glad we picked this Hampton Inn before our long drive home! "

Red Roof Inn & Suites Newport – Middletown, RI
10/10 Excellent
"Red Roof Inn Middletown was a very nice stay. It was clean, quiet, easy access to the area, and had a surprising nice breakfast.
The best part were the people who operated the inn."
"I had an amazing experience at this hotel from the moment I arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, always ready to help with a smile. The check-in process was smooth, and my room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Location the Best "
"The property is very cute and we enjoyed our stay. The area is great and there is plenty to walk to. The rooms do not have a coffee maker or refrigerator. There is ice available, but you have to call down to request it.
There is a coffee counter in the lobby area to buy coffee, but it’s only open Thu-Sun, so we had no coffee available since we weren’t there those mornings.
The bathroom is very small with little counter space, but it worked out okay for us. The shower is also very small and made it awkward to shower. The bed was fairly comfortable, but the couch is stiff.
We enjoyed both bars (there is a ‘speakeasy’ and a karaoke bar called Boombox). We wish they were open more nights. Bartenders at both bars were terrific. Friendly and full of recommendations.
The hotel staff was all wonderful, helpful, and kind. "
