Carolyn and Paul were perfect hosts available when you need them but not intrusive. It felt like we had the place to ourselves and the distance from the other cabins ensured our privacy! "Abermain was a fantastic hotel. Great location to be close to the wineries in Pokolbin and Lovedale. Room was clean and it’s situated in a hotel that is 115 years old. We were worried about the shared bathroom but it was totally fine. The bar food looked great, even though we didn’t indulge after a day at the wineries. Would definitely come back to the Abermain. "

"Rooms are a bit tired looking but extremely comfortable and clean. We skipped breakfast but enjoyed the delicious $95pp 3 course evening meal. The hotel grounds are lovely. There's also a great Irish bar, Harrigans about 1km down the street. I can't wait to return."
