Mountain Biking Weekend
Budget hotel during Mountain Biking at Innerleithen. Room was clean and staff very friendly. Car park at rear. Whilst breakfast was advertised as continental, it was only cereal and fruit.

Overlal good stay. OK quality rooms, bathroom was ok. Continental breakfast was not cooked, but was good enough to get you going. For a quick stay, to just have a good sleep in, it was good enough place.

Not recommended
This was a very disappointing stay. The price charged was, frankly, day-light robbery. The hotel is very basic, not particularly clean and the furniture sub IKEA. No cooked breakfast, very basic offering and not even at seat when you come down to breakfast. Innerleithen has become very popular and this hotel is obviously cynically cashing in. Would not recommend a stay here.

We were in the area to visit Traquair house and it was very convenient to walk down to the house. It is family run and extremely friendly. We felt warmly welcomed. We enjoyed it so much we chose to stay an additional night!

Lovely weekend break
A really enjoyable stay - again. We've stayed here several times and just keep coming back. Easy check-in, friendly staff, lovely room. And dog friendly which was great for our boy. Will be back again later in the year for another walking weekend. Thank you.

I really enjoyed meeting the 3 generations of women running OYO. They were friendly and accommodating. I loved the Pub dogs, Stuart and Ronan. I will be recommending OYO to anyone planning to visit Scotland, and i will be back.

Nice location
Unfortunately our room was adjacent to the outside drinking area so was noisy until the pub closed these central heating radiator did not work but in the room was a oil fired radiator which was very controllable The breakfast was continental we would’ve preferred a full breakfast

Good place to stay if you are mountain biking
Nice owner and welcoming to our dog and I. No food avail for dinner and only continental breakfast. Staff happy to let you have crockery and cutlery to have take away food.

Good sized and clean room with a new bathroom. Unfortunately it was located above the public bar and the window opened on to the outside smoking area. I was travelling with my son and the noise from the bar didn’t stop until after 1 am. Not a relaxing or quiet room.

Comfortable and clean room - marked down because of noise from the bar - music seemed to go on late, though to be fair this is a pub and it was Saturday night, had I not needed to leave at 0530 next morning I could have coped more easily. Owners very friendly and helpful.

Dog friendly, clean and beautiful
On arrival you check into a dingy pub and my first thoughts were "oh dear what have I booked!" But what a surprise to see the stunning and spotlessly clean rooms! They have thought of everything in the B&B and dogs are more than welcome. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Will definitely be staying here again next time we're in the area.

Pleasant Hotel well placed for visiting the Border
More of an Inn than a Hotel. Although had to go through Bar to check in it was friendly. All staff where pleasant and helpful. Room (4) was well appointed with very nice en-suite facilities. Whilst there was some noise from the bar below it wasn't too disturbing. Parking was a problem one night with several vehicles having to manoeuvre to allow us in. The breakfast was very nicely cooked and well presented. A very pleasant stay.

More of a pub with rooms than a hotel
Was a 2 night stay so was surprised that our room was not made up after the 1st night. Beds were unmade, and tea/coffee not replenished when we returned to our room after a long day. When we brought this to the attention of staff member when checking out, were told that we should have requested that this be done which surprised us because we thought that as a hotel this would be done automatically.

This is a really mixed review. First the positives, lovely lady greeted us and showed us to our rooms and the rooms are fantastic, ours had just been refurbed, new everything and comfy bed. first class, you would pay double for the quality of room. BUT its on the main road, and single glazing, not a huge issue but it is above a pub and we timed it badly - festival week so lots of music etc. but that's not the pubs fault. in short its a high street pub and rooms above, limited parking round back but we parked. great breakfat on offer from 8am but we left early each day so owner arranged cereal. Mega service we just were unlucky on the date - but brilliant price too - so just plan ahead. we had ear plugs for the 2nd night and slept well!

Nice hotel in Innerleithen, not Peebles.
Expedia claims this hotel is in Peebles, it gives the address as High Street, Peebles. It's not, it's in Innerleithen, which resulted in a wasted hour of driving around Peebles looking for it. I wanted to stay in Innerleithen anyway, don't think the Hotel is at fault, it's Expedia that is wrong.

Small Town Pub Inn
The rooms have just been remodeled and were quite comfortable. If you like to walk or bike this is a great spot. There are restaurants, tourist attractions, parks, and a laundry all within walking distance. The owners are pleasant and helpful. I would stay there again. The parking in the back was limited. I parked about a block away in a free public lot.

Welcomeing , Freindly and great breakfast
Everyone was realy freindly and helpfull. The bedroom looked like it was recantly decorated with a lovly four poster bed and an excellant power shower. The area was really nice and scenic. Excellant place to stop and unwind. The breakfast was great.
