Cosy cottage - 10 minute walk to West Angle Bay

A traditional Welsh cottage, a beautiful beach within walking distance and the Pembrokeshire coast on your doorstep.

Tucked away in the peaceful village of Angle, Bluebell Cottage is a cosy, characterful retreat for families and friends. Spend your days exploring sandy beaches and the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast Path, then return to the cottage to light the log burner, enjoy the garden or settle around the dining table together.

The space:

The cottage sleeps up to 7, although if you are a group of adults we recommend it is most comfortable for 6. The fourth bedroom is a single, giving families and groups useful flexibility with sleeping arrangements.

The cosy sitting room features a log-burning stove, Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi, making it a lovely place to relax after a day exploring the coast.

The modern kitchen is well equipped for preparing family meals and there is a utility area with space for drying walking boots and wet-weather gear.

The ground-floor bathroom has a bath and separate shower.

There are four bedrooms:
• Ground-floor double bedroom
• First-floor double bedroom
• First-floor twin bedroom
• First-floor single bedroom

Quality 100% cotton bed linen and bath sheets are provided for each guest. Please bring your own beach towels.

The garden:

The enclosed rear garden has a lawn, patio, mature shrubs and fruit trees. It's a lovely spot for an alfresco meal on a summer evening and provides space for children and dogs to enjoy the outdoors, although children and dogs must be supervised at all times. A BBQ is available during the summer months.

The location:

West Angle Bay is one of the highlights of staying at Bluebell Cottage. The sandy beach is approximately a 10-15 minute walk or 2-minute drive away and is popular with families.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is accessible from the doorstep and offers spectacular coastal walks.

There are also two great local pubs within walking distance. The Hibernia Inn is a few minutes' walk away, while the Old Point House at East Angle Bay is a lovely spot for exceptional food or a drink overlooking the water.

Wavecrest Café at West Angle Bay is another local favourite, serving fantastic lunches, coffee, cake, drinks and ice cream during the season.

Things to do:

For days out, you're within easy reach of the stunning beaches at Barafundle Bay, Broad Haven South, Freshwater East and Freshwater West, as well as the beautiful lily ponds at Bosherston.

Tenby is around 25 minutes by car and there are plenty of family attractions and historic sites nearby, including Pembroke Castle, Carew Castle, Manorbier Castle, Folly Farm and Manor Wildlife Park.

Good to know:

There is no longer a shop in Angle, so we recommend bringing groceries with you or organising a delivery. The nearest shops are around 15 minutes away, with a Co-op in Pembroke and larger supermarkets in Pembroke Dock. Tesco also delivers to the cottage and we're happy to provide delivery instructions.

The cottage is very quiet and private. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Another may be permissible on request.

There is on-street parking outside the property.

We provide a high chair, travel cot and stair gate. Please bring your own cot sheets.

Dogs:
If you are bringing your dog please make a note of our house rules:
- please do not leave your dog must alone in the cottage
- please keep your dog under control at all times
- please bring your own bedding/baskets and food bowls for your dog
- please keep your dog downstairs and not on furniture or in bedrooms
- the garden is enclosed but should not be considered dog-proof
- dogs must be kept up to date with flea and worming treatments
- guests accept total responsibility for their dog and their actions, including clearing up all mess in the garden and being financially responsible for any damage caused
