"The location of this house is wonderful. The road does change from paved to dirt, but we were still able to get our 24 ft and 21 ft center console boats there and parked. The view from the dock is gorgeous. There is plenty of parking on the floating dock for your boats and in the yard for cars/trailers. The dock itself could actually use some TLC. It had lots of boards that were loose. The house has so much potential. Tons of room for a large family, but it could also use some more love. The grounds have potential too, but need better upkeep. The outdoor kitchen was nasty and lots of furniture in the yard was broken. The host has a whole notebook of stuff to do and not do. He will respond if you ask him a question, but he will quickly point you back to his notebook or email. It’s a lot of information to retain and go through. He also has reminders posted all over the house for you. In his email, he noted if an early check in was available, he’d notify you. So, I didn’t even ask. We got no notification but no one was obviously there the week prior to us bc I walked through 3 spider webs upon arrival. I would definitely stay again, simply bc of the location alone. This house is definitely one of the more expensive in the Beaufort area. Due to that, I was under the impression we would be getting an immaculately kept house, but that wasn’t the case."

"I booked this home for me and my family for my son’s Boot Camp graduation at Parris Island. This home is absolutely beautiful with everything you need with a bonus of a beautiful backyard view for porch sitting.The accommodations were perfect We had 10 adults and one child. There are only four queen size beds, but they have two very comfortable twin size cots with bedding available. The owners are absolutely wonderful! Very attentive to every need!!!! We loved it there and would have stayed a few more days if we could have. Great food and historical sites to see just within a few miles. Along with grocery very close by. We highly recommend Alvin Ord’s sandwich shop and The Lowcountry Cider Co for your coffee and fresh baked goods! Also check out the Cypress Wetlands just a few miles up the road to see the gators and herons! We will definitely book this home again if ever back in the area!!!!"

"Home was very clean, has only the basics. Only set back was day of arrival, the temp. inside was over 80 degrees-finally cooled off late in the night once unit temp. was turned down and fan ran on high. Overall, the place is decent for the price. Convenient and quiet location!"
