"Lovely hotel with excellent pub attached, particularly good for a drink but also served good food. Breakfast was also very good, and packed lunches are can be bought for anyone on a hiking trip if you arrange this the evening before"

"The owner's rep was a great communicator and responded promptly to every message we sent.This property is an outstanding gem. The place is large, well stocked with the essentials, and is very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and we had good sleeps there. The views were terrific! The back windows open onto a large farm area and there are some wildlife and foul that ventured onto the property to keep us entertained.The location is very nice in the Scottish borders area. The neighbourhood is very quiet and highly maintained, making for a very warm and secure feeling. There is a wee pub just a short walk from the front door and the proprietors are very friendly.We highly recommend this place. You won't be sorry!"

"This was our third time staying in Mill Wharf. It is a roomy, well resourced and very comfortable apartment. It is also ideally located. A gentle 10 minute walk across the historic bridge takes you into the heart of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Bridge Street offers a variety of high quality, reasonably priced and friendly places to eat and drink. For exercise, the apartment is on the English Coastal Path. Beautiful scenery north and south, or wandering around Berwick's ancient walls. We would highly recommend this apartment, and a stay in Berwick."

"Great location, fabulous views of the rolling hills and loch, together with a real sense of 'getting away from it all'. The downstairs of the cottage was cosy and adequately equipped. We particularly enjoyed the open fire that was set up ready to go, we only had to light it and there was plenty of spare wood to burn. A point for our own learning is that next time we will select somewhere that does not welcome pets as many parts of the upstairs did smell like dogs were there before us. So much so the rug and blankets used to cover the beds were unusable. Other that that whilst the cottage had a sort of rustic but tired charm to it, we did enjoy our stay overall."
