Please note: This property requires a minimum stay of 3 nights. Mill House Barn is a wonderful barn conversion settled in Gulval near Penzance, Cornwall. Hosting three/four bedrooms, including a second-floor king-size with additional double sofa bed, ground-floor double and ground-floor adult bunk and a ground-floor sitting room with double sofa-bed along with a bathroom, second-floor shower room and second-floor cloakroom, this property can sleep up to eight guests. There is also a first-floor kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and first-floor living/dining room with dining seating and TV. Please contact Sykes if the additional sofa bed is required - extra charges for linen and towels of GBP18 per person and holiday apply. Outside there is a rear patio and shared lawn with furniture and barbeque, as well as a private, rear terrace with furniture, and off-road parking for one car with additional overflow parking nearby. An EV-charging point can be found on site in the main car park - charges apply. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop in 1.3 miles, pub in 0.9 miles, river in 0.9 miles, and beach in 1 mile. Fuel, power, bed linen, and towels for up to eight people inc. in rent. A blissful break on the coast awaits at Mill House Barn. Note: Due to the sloped ceiling, there is restricted headroom to the front and rear elevations on the second-floor. Note: There are steep steps leading from the terrace to the exterior of the property; there are also three stone steps leading to the property entrance- please take care. Note: On-site laundrette. Note: Other on-site facilities include indoor swimming pool (on a booking system), hot tub, tennis courts, sauna, putting green, convenience shop and restaurant/bar - all provided by Kenegie Manor (www.kenegie-manor.co.uk), fees apply; weekly leisure passes can be purchased on arrival -for details see reception. The Neighborhood:

Gulval is a village in the former Penwith district of Cornwall. Although historically a parish in its own right, Gulval was incorporated into the parishes of Penzance, Madron and Ludgvan in 1934, and like Heamoor, is now considered to be a suburb of Penzance. Gulval, however, still maintains its sense of charm and parts of the village church date back to the 12th century. Other features in the village include the 1910 granite drinking fountain in the centre of the square and the Coldstreamer Inn, allegedly one of the oldest. A charming collection of Victorian houses and cottages are also dotted around what was the village square. Why not wander into the centre of Penzance, appreciated for its abundance of palm trees and gardens full of sub-tropical plants, a sure sign that you have arrived somewhere unique. Also people can visit the surfing beaches of Sennen Cove, Porthcurno. Placed of interedt would also be Minack Theatre, St Michaels mount, Poldark country, Mousehile etc making great days out to enjoy
