Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf

"We stayed at the Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf and would stay again. The location is the best part: it's an easy walk to Pier 39 and the train stations, so getting around was simple. The rooms are a little dated but clean. The staff were friendly at check-in, and everything went smoothly enough that we didn't need to talk to them after that. The outdoor fireplaces were a highlight and a really nice place to hang out in the evening. Breakfast was good, though very busy, so expect a crowd. The hotel bar was usually busy too, and it took a while to get a drink. Overall, a solid choice if location matters most to you."

"Just booked my second stay for this hotel. We loved this hotel. The location is perrrrfect....so many restaurants and shops. Practically next door to the Buena Vista which was a huge pleasant surprise. Great local coffee shop across the street, and 2 really good breakfast spots also across the street. Trolley access, bike tours are super close by... everything. If you are traveling for the San Francisco marathon, this is a great spot."

"We pulled up to have our car valet, and the gentleman was very sweet. Check-in was very easy. Once we got up to our room, we realized we left something in the trunk that we needed for the evening and the hotel was more than happy to grab it out of the trunk for us and meet us in the lobby. The hotel is a quick 4 to 5 minute walk down to the wharf. A lot of convenient bars, restaurants to entertainment in the area."
