"Great location in a historic wharf building - we loved it! Location was outside the bustle of CQ which we really appreciated, and a lovely walk via botanical gardens got us to the Opera House and the Rocks, as well as ferries. Hotel is beautifully done, comfortable bedding, staff were friendly and so kind and helpful with any questions or a request for a check out extension. Had to get our shower to use body wash/gand soap bolted to the bathroom vanity. Not ideal. No fresh towels daily. Cafe does decent coffee & nice breakfast. Close to Darling Harbour & China Town. Good location. Used Cinema parking. Easy. Stayed be the pool till early afternoon after check out. "

"The hotel is in a great location. The rooms were really nice. The staff was great. There was construction in the lobby that was affecting being able to enjoy the lobby. I was charged for a full breakfast when the breakfast was not being offered to its fullest capacity due to construction. It made me feel like customer service was lacking and I never sought breakfast at the hotel again. Other than the construction issues and mediocre service during that time the hotel is lovely. "

"Having stayed at a number of hotels near or adjacent to airports, Rydges is one of the better ones. The rooms are comfortable and clean and there are places to eat and drink on site. However, the number one attribute for me is its proximity to the airport's departure terminal, a 2 minute walk from the hotel lobby. I definitely would stay there anytime I need to catch an early morning flight out of Sydney."
