"Very nice hotel located in a quiet and idyllic village. Easy to reach by car, bike or even public transport (bus stop right behind the corner). In the village itself there are not many services - no proper restaurants outside of the hotel and only a little shop in the center. However this was perfect for us and in any case bigger town nearby can be reached very quickly by car. "The Ski Lodge is awesome! The location is amazing, the staff is super friendly, and the bar and restaurant on-site is so good! Frederick at the bar is cool and loves to play Carcassonne. We always love coming here when we are in Engelberg, do yourself a favor and book it now!"
"We booked the Double Room, Lake View and the scenery was stunning - a view down the Urnersee toward Flüelen with panorama back to Ingenbohl; at sunrise and sunset with clouds hovering (or a chance rainbow we saw) it was spectacular. The view and quiet were relaxing, sitting on the balcony or in the room.
Dinner and breakfast were good, staff were very helpful.
We walked to see the sites and bought fresh cheese at the 24-hour self-serve shop 5 minutes away, after enjoying our 2-hour boat ride from Lucerne to reach there.

"Such an incredible place. Enjoyed the spa at the sister hotel which was a beautiful 10 minute walk away. Literally right next to the funicular and a store where you can buy food essentials, souvenirs and hiking gear. The hotel is brand new and is impeccably clean. The restaurant is very good. Everything in Stoos is within walking distance—including the lifts to the tops of the mountain. If you stay here be prepared to love the tranquility and the sound of cowbells. "
