The staff was wonderful! The wellness team was knowledgeable and attentive. The spa service was excellent. Our room was decorated minimalist style (I would have preferred abut more warmth to the room) which presented a clean, classy feel. Expensive for the “regular folk” but worth the splurge if you can.

Civana was absolutely wonderful. As soon as you walk in, it smells like Santal 33 which is my favorite cologne. Right then and there, I knew I made the right choice haha! The resort and rooms are impeccably clean and minimalistic. All of the staff were extremely accommodating. Christina and Trish from the spa were spectacular as well. This was a fresh breath of air for me and I can not wait to return.

Absolutely loved our stay here and will be back. Beds are comfortable, daily class options are excellent and varied, staff is incredibly friendly, food at the on-site restaurants is delicious and healthy, and the spa was world class (loved the aquatherapy circuit).

This was the perfect wellness getaway. It was my first time here and I feel very rejuvenated and refreshed after a long year. I came to celebrate my birthday here with another friend and we both loved it so much, we plan to make it an annual getaway. Highly recommend it!

Stayed for a solo vacay for my 35th property is nice very clean an peaceful only issue I had with my room was my bathroom mirror light did not work an no one ever came to fix it after complaint. It’s also very expensive with alot of healthy food if that’s not your palate you’ll want to find other options which I did using DD.

Very much enjoyed my stay at Civana, including taking advantage of classes and the spa. The team members working at Civana were uniformly lovely, welcoming, and hospitable. The room was thoughtfully designed and I enjoyed that there was a balcony; booking a pool view or mountain view is (IMO) worthwhile. I think this is an especially great place for someone trying a wellness spa for the first time to see if they enjoy the experience. I had a car and enjoyed the opportunity to see Carefree and some of its shops and restaurants.

I liked the variety of classes and that most were included in the price of the hotel stay. I liked the spa and the services I chose during my stay. What could have been better for me is the food options. Seed closes at 4pm. If I didn’t plan ahead and purchase 2 things at lunch then I either did not eat or stuck getting something from Terras. Terra’s food is ok I would have liked to get a smoothie from Seed or a sandwich rather than a full meal. I also could have done without the several small groups of women who chose to not respect others nor the quiet area signs. The loud laughter and immaturity displayed is not what I expected from a Wellness Resort. I feel I shouldn’t need to wear my ear pods in the quiet area of the spa to block out the loud and obnoxious conversations. Maybe alcohol should not be served. Most of these women seemed to enjoy the bar. By Sunday the resort was much nicer. The small groups seemed to have left and the serenity that I hoped for was finally present. Would I go there again? Maybe. If I bring my own snacks, remember my air pods and don’t assume everyone knows what “quiet area” means.
