Fine hotel with central location

This is a fine hotel in the Vieux Port area, only a few hundred metres from the actual port. Dog friendly, dogs allowed in the breakfast area. Good standard breakfast. If you come by car I recommend not to try to drive to the hotel entrance but to the closest parking garage which is only like 200 metres walking distance away.

Room was quite comfortable and breakfast was outstanding with several options to suit differing tastes. Downsides: I was there on business and in room desk was quite small. Better to work in common areas of hotel (like breakfast room). And no gym, so instead did workouts in the room (which is limiting).

The breakfast was not nice (few selection, scrumble eggs were terrible), the room was basic (no hand cream or other toileteries, only shower gel). But the location was perfect! Loved the hotel . It was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well which we were grateful for as it was quite hot during our stay . We didn’t feel truly safe in the area outside however that it’s not the fault of the hotel.
