Great value stay in central Marseille

Good value hotel near the train station. Buffet breakfast was decent, enough choice for vegans including almond milk on request, toast, beans, fruit salad, little jars of apple sauce and cinnamon stewed prunes which were delicious

Lovely hotel, great staff.

The reception staff were all very friendly,helpful and inviting. They stored our luggage on arrival as our room wasn't ready. (We arrived early) Breakfast was great, lots of options. Location is walkable to the city centre for restaurants and shopping. Our room was very clean and quiet even though we were facing the main street.

The hotel and staff were great! Bfast was excellent. The location is great for train travel. You can walk to the area of Old Port in 20-30 minutes. We enjoyed our stay at the property. The location is in a very diverse area. We felt safe at the Alex.

Nice hotel, helpful friendly staff, good breakfast bad neighbourhood. For the cost of the hotel if you are stay few days I would suggest the vieux port. Much better neighbourhood. Alex is great for one night and a need to be close to the station.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great recommendations for lunches and dinners. The hotel room was very clean and spacious for our needs. The hotel was in a great location. It was very close the train station and rental cars. Also there were several restaurants within walking distance. They do not have parking, but there is a garage that the car rentals are in that is public parking as well. This is a family owned hotel. The breakfast was great.

Great location, helpful staff!

We loved this hotel, and it’s convenience to the train station and many restaurants. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Note: the pool is not included in your stay, and some rooms have no elevator access, so be mindful when booking.

The property was conveniently located right across from a train/bus station, and within walking distance to major sites. Room was very clean and staff extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. That said, the immediate area around the property was fairly dirty, messy and overall unappealing.

Nice hotel

Great location right next to the train station. Be sure to go down the escalator and not the stairs as they are a challenge with luggage. Easy to walk around the city from here. Room was great- we got a jr suite for extra space and it was perfect!
