"Nice, clean quiet room - the first choice, on the 5th floor with an interior view of the parking garage, was not great - the front desk was super nice and moved us to a higher floor. The valet in and out all day was especially helpful as it was graduation weekend and we had a lot of errands to run. I just wish the bar and restaurant were better at this property - they are usually pretty underwhelming. But I love the Joinery otherwise - really convenient downtown Pittsburgh location close to everything."

"The room was very nice, however, it’s a little dated and the TV wires could have been tied up better. There is no food or drink on premises and no availability to purchase in an on premises market for snacks or sodas. That would have been nice. "

"We didn't stay for breakfast. We checked out before 8 am. Rooms had black mold and were dirty. Switched rooms same problem. Talked with Frank and the front desk who said he "wasn't surprised" by the conditions of the rooms. Valet is a joke. He was sleeping and and the nerve to tell me he didn't have to valet my vehicle. For the service I received and $44, I agreed and found free parking around the corner. Crazy to talk to someone like that when you work for tips. Upon checkout, Michelle was the only reasonable person."

"Stay was just okay. Informed front desk microwave in room was missing the plate. They never brought a replacement which ruined my dinner plan."

"I really want to give this hitel 5 stars as it has so much giing for it. However, there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. (I just assumed, wrongly, that there would be.) The only problem we had was with the heating/ac/ventilation in the room. The thermostat was controlled somewhere other than in our room, and whether the heating was on or not, there was a fan running constantly which gave me a terrible headache and caused my husband to have an allergy attack."
