Not sure if it was an air freshener but it was the first thing I noticed when I walked in. Good choice at breakfast and was nice to use the pool and facilities. All in all a very pleasant stay. "Lovely hotel, staff friendly and food on site was lovely. Quick service and nice environment. Certain parts of the building are quite run down and need fixing, I.e. health club ceilings visibly damaged and in a state of disrepair in areas but overall didn’t detract from experience. "

"We stayed one night to see Bruce Springsteen in Sunderland. Didn’t get time to use the hotel facilities as we were running late but what we did see and experience was very good, clean and tidy. Friendly staff, great location, fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay again and make use of all the facilities they have to offer."
