"We loved our 10 days at Villa Arpicella and we would not hesitate to recommend it.Our host, Fabio, was everything you could wish for: excellent comms via WhatsApp, thoroughly pleasant and responsive, professional, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. He provided a pdf with excellent recommendations for sights and restaurants etc. He personally guided us to the property from Pienza and gave us a useful check in briefing. In addition to a complimentary bottle of (very good) Tuscan red, you can buy, at a modest price, samples of the wine, pasta and wild boar sauce produced by the property.The location: the Val d’Orcia is the most beautiful part of Tuscany, and Pienza is its jewel. The farm property is just a few minutes’ drive from Pienza, yet you can enjoy the quiet and the rural charm: deer browsing amongst the olive trees, hundreds of pheasants, wood pigeons, swallows; quite glorious.The villa has everything you need to be comfortable: excellent bathroom and shower, good cooking facilities (both upstairs and down, if you want to use it), washing machine and dryer, dishwasher and good AC in both bedrooms. Even though we were there during high temperatures, cool bedrooms made it easy to get by. Insect netting over all the windows was a very good feature.The grounds are large and there are recliners and outdoor tables. The view out over the Val d’Orcia from the villa is magnificent.An idyllic property in an idyllic place."

"If you are dreaming of the perfect Tuscan villa, look no further. This was the most beautiful property in the most beautiful location, walkable to the town of Pienza, but surrounded by vast, majestic land. Every day people routinely stopped at the side of the road to take pictures of the villa. It's postcard perfect. Thiago, the host, was incredible, there to greet us personally and answered all our questions throughout our stay. The villa itself is meticulously kept, with such attention to detail. Could not recommend this place more highly."

"Location was in the middle of the ZTL in Pienza which means you get to walk out of your room into the middle of the touristy part of the city with no cars to really worry about most of the time. Parking was about a 10 min walk away so it wasn't too bag to walk with bags. Cute suite we had with a kitchen and dining room. Had A/C in all rooms but we only used the one in the bedroom. Cute and convenient accommodation in a great location."

"We had an amazing time staying at this property: the staff were super helpful, going beyond what was expected to accommodate our late arrival. The room was very clean and cozy looking, the views surrounding the property were breathtaking, we couldn’t believe our eyes. The view of the property were we had our breakfast, looked like a postcard. I highly recommend this place and would love to visit it again"

"The hotel was beautiful maintained and a very convenient location. We stayed in a newly renovated room which was quite modern and clean with excellent spaces for clothes and toiletries which I appreciated! Our room didn’t have a view, it looked onto another building which I was a bit disappointed about. The breakfast was average, too many sweet dessert choices for my taste, but there were eggs and and a nice yogurt bar. The pool area looks nicer in the pictures than it does in person but the pool itself was nice and refreshing. They could have furnished the pool area nicer considering the area we were in! The staff were helpful and friendly, hotel was very convenient with lots of parking and it was very clean."

"Location is ideal to see Pienza. The suite is on the second floor overlooking the shops and restaurants on the Main Street of the old village. Check in guy was great. Space is cute and well appointed. The bed and pillows were not as comfortable as I would like personally. There are lots of throw pillows; however, I would suggest putting a couple more regular pillows on the bed. I was happy overall. NOTE: parking is not a reserved space and is 300m away across from the Coop store. If the lot is full, you are paying until one opens up. (14Euros a day if you cannot. We only had to wait a little as we were not staying in peak season. Parking in these little older towns is NEVER ideal though. "
