"Room was beautiful and spacious. Came with gorgeous tub, robe and slippers that made it extra comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. The pool is gorgeous as well as the grounds (garden and walking area). They have pool side service for cocktails and food. Absolutely would stay here again."

The hotel’s location on the hillside above Florence is nothing short of spectacular, waking up to panoramic views of the city’s rooftops, the Duomo, and the rolling Tuscan landscape felt like stepping into a Renaissance painting. The staff were exceptional from the moment we arrived. Warm, attentive, and truly dedicated to making every guest feel welcome, they elevated the entire stay. Every interaction felt personal and sincere, and their professionalism matched the elegance of the property. Our accommodation was outstanding, beautifully designed rooms, immaculate cleanliness, and thoughtful touches that made the space feel both luxurious and cozy. The peaceful atmosphere of the villa, surrounded by greenery and history, created the perfect retreat after exploring Florence. A special mention goes to the hotel’s shuttle driver, who was incredibly friendly, kind, and exceptionally helpful. His positive energy and local insights made each ride enjoyable, and his service added real value to our stay. He represents the spirit of hospitality that makes Villa Fiesole stand out. And of course, Florence itself. A city overflowing with historic landmarks, world‑class art, and timeless beauty. "The accommodation is very good value for money. Nice facilities. The food in the restaurant is excellent and at a very reasonable price. Just one small complaint. We arrived in a torrential downpour, but had to wander around the site in the dark looking for our chalet. I thought a little buggy to help travellers would be a good idea."

"Lovely hotel, room was comfortable with all amenities you could need. The spa was very nice and a little getaway inside Florence. We were able to book the Spa and have it for ourselves even in the middle of summer. Breakfast and pool are great. We opted to use the bikes they provide to get to town, the hotel is right on a bike path and it is a straight shot to get to the city center. Great location but still far enough that it is quiet, and we had wonderful little sunset bike rides into town by the river. Highly recommend the staff are wonderful."

"We visited four very different parts of Italy and our stay at Fattoria Lavacchio may have been our favorite. One important thing to know that was a little tricky to figure out was that you check-in at “Casabella”. The property belonging to Fattoria Lavacchio includes multiple buildings spread along 1km or so of the road. Our room ended up being an apartment about 300m from Casabella (the building in the pictures here with the pool). There was not traditional a/c but we didn’t need it with the fans and air coolers they provided. We also loved sleeping with the windows wide open and no need for screens because no bugs!! Even in the hottest part of the summer!! We love star gazing at night, cooking class overlooking the winery, horseback riding, and dinner on the patio by the pool. We also enjoyed the breakfast with fresh juices and jams made there at Fattoria Lavacchio. They also make their own olive oil. We felt very relaxed and refreshed after our visit there. Wish we could have stayed longer!"
