But the agriturismo is great and with great ambiance if you want to stay outside Bologna and take field trips from this location. Same hotel in Tuscany would be double the price."

I used the Hotel shuttle. I had my mother and my aunt, both in wheelchairs, and the driver was so helpful with them. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"We arrived in Bologna by train for a 2-night stay and the Starhotels Excelsior was a great place to land. The hotel is directly across the street from the train station and within a 20 minute walk to the center of town, which made it ideal for our needs. The front desk staff were helpful and efficient, and the room was spacious - you could walk around without tripping over suitcases - with a comfortable bed. Also, it was very quiet inside the room - any noise from the street below did not reach inside our room. The hotel was a basic place to stay for a couple of nights and met our needs perfectly."

"I have no complaints about anything other than the beds were hard as a rock. We had one of the little cabins with 2 twin beds and both were quite uncomfortable. Other than that for the price we paid everything was fine. The food was good and the room was clean. There was even an electric teapot and tea in the room. We had a nice little porch to hang out on after our long day in the city of Bologna. The buses were easy to figure out and the staff was quite helpful."
