This hotel is perfect for a solo traveler. The breakfast is excellent, high quality. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. The area is close to the Piazza Maggiore which is a very busy hub but the hotel itself is very quiet. The area was very safe and an easy walk to/from the train station

Stayed here just for one night and absolutely loved it , The location is right next door to the cathedral and in the piazza Maggiore , Perfect for exploring the city, As mentioned in previous reviews this is a very old building and keeps its charm along with some modern features, Rooms were spacious and clean Breakfast was very nice with plenty of options Staff very friendly and helpful Would absolutely recommend this hotel !!

This hotel was our favourite during our 2 week trip in Italy. The hotel was unique with art everywhere, old beams, and historic elements. Our room was lovely with an antique wardrobe and 2 big paintings of Bologna. Directly out our window were arches and the high tower of the church. Spectacular!!! The staff were amazing...helped us make reservations for dinner at one of the best restaurants in Bologna ... Franco Rossi.

The Art Hotel was very nice, and lived up to its name, with beautiful pieces of art attractively displayed throughout. I would give in 4.5, and not a 5, only because the brewed coffee in the dining room was terrible, and things that should have been hot, were not. That included the scrambled eggs, bacon, side vegetables, and aforementioned coffee and hot water. It was like the food warmers and hot pots were not ever turned on. We were there 4 nights, and it was the same each morning. Other than that, food was excellent, and location couldn't be beat.

Our stay at Art Commercianti Hotel was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is beautiful, with charming decor and a welcoming atmosphere. Every member of the staff was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The location couldn’t have been better—it’s within walking distance of many of the city’s main attractions, making it easy to explore everything on foot. The breakfast was beyond our expectations. There was an excellent variety of fresh, delicious options, and it was the perfect way to start each day. I highly recommend Art Commercianti Hotel to anyone visiting Bologna. We would definitely stay here again!
