"We rented this house on Portage Lake for a family reunion. The weather was great, the paddle boards and the kayaks were a big hit and so nice that is part of the house rental, it made the stay extra fun. I rated the cleanliest lower because it was not as clean as it should have been for a vacation rental house, it could use some TLC and deeper cleaning. Over all we had a great stay!"

There was a lovely back porch with a picnic table leading out to a green lawn that met the little dock where we launched the kayaks each of several days to explore the area. There were deer, all manner of ducks & waterbirds, and water lillies floating along the river leading along the chain of lakes. The cottage was super clean with a pretty kitchen. "The cottage is wonderful - everything is new, it has all the things you need, and the space is beautiful. The bedrooms are upstairs, connected with a door between them, and the bathroom/shower is downstairs. It’s a great layout for a family stay. It’s bigger than we expected, with an extra seating area upstairs."
