"Probably one of the most unique stays I have ever booked. The entire property was decorated beautifully with Buddhist idols and artistry. The hotel had a great view of Lake Cuyamaca if you book a lake facing room. But many of the common areas overlook the lake. The hotel offers many wellness activities such as yoga, various massages and meditation. They are all pretty pricey but there for you if you choose to partake. I did utilize the gym which was well-equipped. The room was pretty standard. I chose the Zen Suite based on the website pictures but was a little disappointed when the bed frame draping was missing and there was no ceiling fan as advertised. The AC was quiet and running well during my visit. Not much to do around the property. I walked down to the lake a couple of times and found some trails and then a short 12-min drive up to the town of Julian. I do have to recognize Adam at the front desk who called me during my drive to the hotel. The front desk closes at 9:30 but I wasn’t planning on arriving until well after 10:00. Adam took the time to make sure that I had my room code and that I found my room. He texted me all of the information needed. Kudos to Adam for going above and beyond. Really a nice hotel and very quiet which is a plus. But too far from anything."

"Well kept property, accommodating staff ( trinity) was very helpful. staff and cleaning crew were very nice. Renato was ensuring our questions and needs were attends too with the use of bbq grill. Been coming here for the past 5 years to celebrate my son and my birthday. And has been a family tradition. See you again next year! We enjoyed pickle ball, tennis , swimming, pool table and just soak in the pool and spa!"
