"Amazing location. If you were any closer to the Leaning Tower you’d be sleeping on it! The most fabulous view of the whole piazza. Room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. No breakfast provided but there is a lovely bakery/coffee shop on the corner two doors down with a view of the tower. If you want to stay somewhere with the best view in Pisa, we highly recommend staying here!"

"Well run accommodation catering to the needs of early morning flight travellers. It does this very well. Clean bathrooms and room with ample sockets for devices handily located next to the beds. Early afternoon check in was much appreciated. Basic breakfast and ok coffee included from 3:30am. 5 mins easy walk to the airport security queue. AC wouldn't go below 23c. It switched itself off during the night so it was 27 when we woke up. The fan only worked when the light was on. It was quiet but...

"We booked the Relais storico hotel but then I was told that the hotel is closed because of the coronavirus measures. Therefore we were offered another room at Minerva hotel. "The room was a good size with good facilities: wifi, fridge and kettle. Well done. One problem was that all the sockets except one were Italian, rather than European, and the fridge, kettle and my laptop all needed the European socket! The breakfast service was atrocious. The worst I have ever had anywhere. It took over 10 minutes to get a cup of tea. On my last morning I had finished my breakfast before the pot of tea arrived, so I did not have time to drink it.
