Royal Sportsman Hotel

Royal Sportsman Hotel

8/10 Good
"Overall we enjoyed our Stay very much. The Staff were Friendly and Efficient, the Breakfasts and Dinners Fabulous plus the free on Site Parking very Convenient . On the down side we were in Room 7 which is a Ground Floor Non-Courtyard Room. It only has one Small Window making it very Gloomy inside and the Water was never Hot only Luke Warm after running for even a few minutes."

The Royal Victoria Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"A one night stay to allow my son and I to stay over after climbing Snowdon. Perfectly located, a premium was paid because of this. A simple twin bedded room in the coach house, ideal for our needs. A bath was appreciated, bubble bath would have been a nice touch. Excellent staff, very helpful and polite. This was consistent throughout the hotel, especially the young man serving in the bar in the evening and also a waitress at breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was self service and substantial. Highly recommended. An all round excellent stay, £166, breakfast included and free parking."

"The hotel is quaint and very friendly. It is especially dog friendly which many guests appreciated. Our room was large and comfortable with its own bathroom. Michelle our host was extremely friendly and accommodating. I had lamb shanks for dinner which was a huge serving and very delicious. My husband had the muscles and was left with enough room to finish my large serving. A walk through the lovely gardens ended our evening perfectly. The road up is narrow and not for the faint of heart."
