"I don’t usually leave reviews, but the accommodations, staff and service were exceptionally excellent. My partner and I were here for a short getaway and I’m so glad we chose El Silencio. The food was top notch and there was a wide variety of activities to choose from. The hiking on the property was quite enjoyable and we loved the on property private waterfalls. The staff here were very attentive, friendly and helpful which made our stay here very pleasant. I would highly recommend El Silencio...

"Ruben et Yeilyn ont été aux petits soins pour nous.Toujours souriants et disponibles.Ruben nous a fait découvrir les alentours .Nous avons passé 5 h sur sa barque à moteur avec 2 accompagnateurs.3 personnes pour nous deux ;une sortie en toute sécurité.Des arrêts pour observer des animaux et marcher dans la forêt.on a vu des singes,un ara,un crocodile,des grenouilles colorées…Une très belle journée. "The place is very, very special, a hotel in the rainforest, the staff is really lovely, we probably arrived at a bad time, the room was very humid, the blankets were so damp that they were wet, it was not pleasant to sleep there, we were supposed to stay for 2 nights, but unfortunately we chose to leave after the first night"

"This was a wonderful first stop on our vacation as is it was midway betweeen San Jose and La Fortuna. We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. It was a highlight of our trip!"
