We had the most wonderful time staying at this beautiful cottage. My husband , dog Nellie and I booked East, while my daughter and son in law booked West , the cottage next door.
Both cottages ( we were in and out of each other’s) are thoughtfully decorated and have a warm and cosy feel to them. The kitchen is well equipped and spotless, as are the bathrooms. The bed was very comfortable too.
The location is both spectacular and peaceful, with views across the valley . It snowed while we were there making our stay even more special. There are walks around the cottages and it was a treat to see the local wildlife .
My son in law , a professional photographer, was able to capture some amazing photos of the stars and Jupiter and its moons due to lack of light pollution in the area.
We visited Pitlochry ( New Year’s Day) and Dunkeld (Tay Bank Hotel) and of course the famous House of Bruar. Tweed and tartan rugs were bought !
We had an absolutely wonderful time and I can’t wait to return !
