"Breakfast was lovely and plentiful with freshly-squeezed orange juice. Room was very comfortable - we had asked for room on a low floor, which we got. All staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is just a short walk from the very sandy beach and the bay surfers enjoy. It's also a couple of hundred yards from the town centre, a nightclub and post office. "Rooms and staff hospitality were fantastic. Had to take a Star away for the dining area. Food was good but zero ambiance. No background music or decorations on the walls, and it looked like someone set up card tables with tablecloths. Plain and uninspiring. Bar area and bartenders were top notch. Fantastic drinks!"
