"Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds, nice deluxe spa room, comfy bed, friendly, courteous staff, all across the hotel departments. The only negative is the evening meal. The restaurant had a nice ambience. The starters were nice then we both went for the Wagu cheeseburger which made your mouth water when you read the description on the menu. It arrived and was dry, no taste, in not the toasted sesame seeded brioche bun as described but a dry catering type bun, a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato, it was served with about 12 dry fries, really disappointing to say you were allocated £32 each towards the evening meal. We would stay again but not eat at the hotel. "

"From the first moment of getting there to the sad moment we had to leave this had to be the best place we have been as a family over the new year period, Jane was amazing as a host very informative and let you feel at home straight away. The property is everything and more to the point we only left the house once and that was for a lovely meal in the neighbouring village. One thing i will say is we can't wait to book again thank you for a lovely stay Jane and family."

"We had the most fantastic stay at Featherstone House. It’s a spacious, warm and inviting family home with everything you need for a break. The garden is big too (we’re looking forward to coming back and enjoying it in the summer!) and the hot tub is a great addition. The house was very clean and the host, Andrew, couldn’t have done more for us. Highly recommend"
