"We had a great stay. Great resort, loved the location and food was great. Pools was the perfect temperature, and we had a great time with our 3 year old daughter. We had a room where the bathroom had a very strange chemical sticky smell. It was a busy time at the report, but the staff was great and helped to get us a new room. They were very nice and gave us a complimentary cabana. Would definitely go back for our next trip"

"This Hotel was spotless. Staff was friendly and very attentive. They welcomed us at the lobby with lemonade as we were checking in. The food was delicious the drinks were great. I loved everything about this Hotel this is the 1st time I give an excellent review to a Hotel. The malecon is nearby walking distance we walked there every night it was so lovely. I highly recommend it."

"Exactly what I wanted. Great location and that old world feel of PVR. We loved our king suite and views. Just be ready for stairs no elevator. The staff were great and helpful. Close to everything. Easy walking. Even our snorkle trip pick us up two blocks away. I also recommend Fluffy's for breakfast. For the price well worth it."

"The room was amazing as we stayed in the Raphael! Jerry, Itzel, Sonia and Manuel the bartender were fantastic and gracious hosts as we got a full tour of most of the rooms (some were occupied and couldn't be viewed). They are undergoing a remodel right now but it didnt bother us as there is plenty to do and see during the day in the Romantic Zone and even in downtown Puerto Vallarta. The restaurant in hotel is very good food and its a 1 minute walk right out to the beach! For authentic mexican feel, this Hotel is it! If the construction bothers you then book in January when they are complete, we will definitely be staying here again and cant wait to see the finished product! "
