"This property was all we could have hoped for with our multi generational family of 10. Gorgeous house and setting was stunning. Plenty of room for all of us. The staff was very helpful and communicative. They were responsive to all requests. It is very private. A bit away from town but walkable to a breakfast/lunch spot. "This was one of the most unique and memorable places we’ve ever stayed.The treehouse feels completely immersed in nature while still being comfortable and thoughtfully designed. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle, soft natural light coming through the windows, and seeing monkeys and parrots right outside was an experience we’ll never forget.The location was incredible — an easy walk to Playa Avellanas beach, restaurants, and local shops, but the property itself felt peaceful, private, and hidden away from everything.We loved the handcrafted details throughout the home. The carved artwork, tropical woodwork, and overall design made the space feel artistic, warm, and authentic to Costa Rica. It truly felt like staying somewhere special instead of a typical vacation rental.The beds were very comfortable, the AC worked great in the bedrooms, and the WiFi was strong enough for remote work and streaming without any issues.One of our favorite parts of the stay was relaxing in the hammocks after long beach walks and sunsets. The entire property has a calm energy that makes it easy to slow down and fully enjoy the experience.Ben was an outstanding host — extremely helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable about the area. "We absolutely loved our stay here and did not want to leave. The property feels like a private tropical retreat right in the heart of Playa Avellanas. Everything was exactly as described, if not better.The location was perfect — an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and local shops, yet the property itself felt peaceful, quiet, and secluded behind the gated entrance. We especially loved walking through the mangrove boardwalk to the beach every morning and watching the sunsets in the evenings.The home was incredibly comfortable and spacious. The California king beds were amazing, the AC worked perfectly, and the 1500 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets honestly felt like something from a luxury hotel. The house was spotless and thoughtfully designed with beautiful local art and antiques throughout.One thing that surprised us was how relaxing the property felt. We spent hours in the hammocks listening to the sounds of nature, and we saw monkeys and parrots right on the property during our stay.The WiFi was strong enough for remote work and streaming, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Magic place with ocean view & direct beach access - A wood house in paradise

"I’m not sure I can say enough good things about this magical place. The cabin was perfectly clean and had absolutely everything one could hope for. Everything was as depicted in the pictures and just a true pleasure of a space. The AC in the bedrooms was a huge plus for travelers coming from cold climates. The kitchen and its amenities were a huge class as well, and it had every convenience who could hope for, for easy cooking. The location is truly beautiful. It really is right in the beach where you have access to both the rocky landscape and sandy openings for wake boarding or surfing. If you keep your eyes open you will see the entire ecosystem of natural wonders. From hummingbirds and the birds to iguanas and baby sea turtles, to colorful tropical fish in the tide pools that form the tide is out, to hermit, crabs, and live sand dollars, the exploration right out the door is endless. As a mother traveling solo with her daughter, we both felt very safe at this beautiful place, and my heart already earns to return.The hosts were exceptionally responsive and wonderfully kind, and we feel both lucky and grateful for them to have opened this cabin up. You can simply feel that the cabinet is full of care, love and kindness."
