"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolute Hidden Gem – Even Better Than the Photos! This was one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something truly special. The property is absolutely stunning, and the photos don’t even come close to capturing how beautiful it is in real life. The home is perfect for couples, small families, or larger families looking for a private, peaceful retreat surrounded by nature while still being just a 3-minute walk from the beach and great restaurants. It truly offers the best of both worlds. The hosts were exceptional in every way. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, accommodated every request with genuine kindness, and made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Their hospitality was simply outstanding. Every morning we looked forward to the delicious, fresh breakfast, and we spent many relaxing hours enjoying the gorgeous pool. One of the highlights of our trip was that our kids took surfing lessons with the owner—they absolutely loved the experience and are already talking about coming back! We traveled with our 17-, 20-, and 24-year-old children, and every single one of us had an amazing time. It’s rare to find a place that everyone in the family enjoys, but this property exceeded all of our expectations. "We travel all over the world and almost exclusively rent private homes. This was the best home we’ve stayed in, truest to the advertisement, and was simply amazing. We were there for a family vacation with added friends for each of our teenage daughters. They had an amazing time and we feltTotally safe letting them roam the small town nearby via golf cart. The concierge Olga was super responsive and helpful with recommendations and options. We made several last minute changes and ahe managed all of it seamlessly. The host Juan Pablo was welcoming and available. Housekeeping kept us in a clean home everyday. Highly recommend!!!"

"This was one of the most unique and memorable places we’ve ever stayed.The treehouse feels completely immersed in nature while still being comfortable and thoughtfully designed. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle, soft natural light coming through the windows, and seeing monkeys and parrots right outside was an experience we’ll never forget.The location was incredible — an easy walk to Playa Avellanas beach, restaurants, and local shops, but the property itself felt peaceful, private, and hidden away from everything.We loved the handcrafted details throughout the home. The carved artwork, tropical woodwork, and overall design made the space feel artistic, warm, and authentic to Costa Rica. It truly felt like staying somewhere special instead of a typical vacation rental.The beds were very comfortable, the AC worked great in the bedrooms, and the WiFi was strong enough for remote work and streaming without any issues.One of our favorite parts of the stay was relaxing in the hammocks after long beach walks and sunsets. The entire property has a calm energy that makes it easy to slow down and fully enjoy the experience.Ben was an outstanding host — extremely helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable about the area. "We absolutely loved our stay here and did not want to leave. The property feels like a private tropical retreat right in the heart of Playa Avellanas. Everything was exactly as described, if not better.The location was perfect — an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and local shops, yet the property itself felt peaceful, quiet, and secluded behind the gated entrance. We especially loved walking through the mangrove boardwalk to the beach every morning and watching the sunsets in the evenings.The home was incredibly comfortable and spacious. The California king beds were amazing, the AC worked perfectly, and the 1500 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets honestly felt like something from a luxury hotel. The house was spotless and thoughtfully designed with beautiful local art and antiques throughout.One thing that surprised us was how relaxing the property felt. We spent hours in the hammocks listening to the sounds of nature, and we saw monkeys and parrots right on the property during our stay.The WiFi was strong enough for remote work and streaming, and the kitchen had everything we needed. "Awesome location - literally steps from the water, you can see the tide come in from the balcony and hear the ocean from your room (& smell the sea air too). Well equipped little cabin room with functional kitchen and fridge. Had some power and water outages the first couple days, and the room gets a bit hot in the afternoons - sort of like a camping/cabin experience but right on the water with some jungle behind you. Host very friendly responsive, tap water is clean for drinking, and area is very safe. Bring water shoes/reef booties. Easiest town is Playa Negra 15min up the beach for a few shops."
